Hi, let me introduce myself first. My name is Anthony and I hail from Toronto, Ontario. I have been a chili-head for as long as I can remember and the addiction keeps getting worse (better?). I guess my area of expertise is in the super-hot realm. I am willing to sacrifice flavour for heat. After all, with extract based hot sauces you only need a few drops, not enough that will significantly alter the taste in my opinion.
Plus I actually like the taste of pepper extract. My comfort level tends to be in 100,000 – 300,000 Scoville area but I do like to indulge in much hotter.

Top 5 Hot Sauces:

  • Blair’s Possible Side Effects
  • Dave’s Insanity Sauce
  • Uncle Big’s Killer Hot Sauce
  • Mother of All Hot Sauces
  • Blair’s Death Sauce

Hottest Sauce Ever Eaten:
Da Bomb Final Answer

Worst ever experience with fiery food:
This is kind of a tie. Closing the bottle of Da’ Bomb there was some sauce on the rim of the cap. I didn’t see it, closed the bottle and then rubbed my eye. I didn’t see anything for some time after that. Meanwhile I have my head under the kitchen sink running cold water over my eye as our guests are having a great time in the living room.

Also, the Day after I ate 10 Armageddon wings from Duff’s Famous Wings. They claim to be 850,000 Scoville (probably more like 400,000).

Number of Hot Sauces Owned: Currently 50.

Number of Hot Sauces Eaten in Lifetime: Probably over 50 different bottles. 150+ including repeats.

Other Info: How it started was a friend who brought me a bottle of Death Sauce from a trip to New Orleans. The moment I tried it I was freed from the chains of Tabasco. Shortly there after I tracked down some Dave’s Insanity Sauce. I thought that was the upper reaches of hotness. A little drop was all I could handle. It kept going from there. A few years later I was eating chicken wings coated in Possible Side Effects and I could douse my food in Dave’s Insanity. So here I am sitting comfortably in the high reaches of Scoville heaven and enjoying every moment of it.

I was curious what was hotter: Mad Anthony’s Extra Hot BBQ Sauce or Blue’s Habanero Reserve BBQ. Also have you tried or heard of anything concerning the Hell’s Inferno Naga Bhut Jolokia Pepper Sauce. I am trying to find a ’sauce’ not an additive or anything that I have to dilute that is extremely hot, both for a hot sauce and a bbq sauce. Any hellp would be oh so great thanks.

Again, why the Insanity sauces? I can make this if I just take about 20 Habaneros and wittle em down to a concentrate. It is just hot. Why don’t we just eat battery acid?

I bought it on-line along time ago. You should be able to find it at The Instant Caterer (The Instant Rip-off) downstairs at the St. Lawrence Market.

You may also want to check with Pete’s Pepper Palace in Burlington. I haven’t been there myself so I can’t vouch for stock.
