Hi,
I used to own Roberto’s Hot Sauce a few years back. We wound up selling it to a fellow who was supposed to take it to the next level. Instead he basically let it fade into obscurity. Since then I was approached by a group of fan’s begging me to start a new sauce company.
So I am am proud to announce the birth of Scorpion Bay Hot Sauce! We should be up and running some time around the end of March. We will initially feature three gourmet sauces. A Chipotle sauce that has a hint of chocolate and a few other secret spices, A De Arbol sauce that is reminiscent of the hole in the wall taco shop style hot sauces, and of course our famous HotAcado an Avocado Hot Sauce that was a Scovie award winner.
These gourmet hot sauces will actually be produced jars instead of bottles as they are so thick and we would never think of skimping on ingredients and thinning out our recipe. We would be very interested in promoting our new company on your site. If you can send information on advertising and promotional opportunities I would greatly appreciate it. Also keep checking our site http://www.scorpionbayhotsauce.com for regular updates and status of our initial launch.
Keep it Hot!
Roberto
Hello,
I’m looking for information on how to get our hot sauce bottled commercially (locally or almost locally). Any ideas of where to turn?
Thanks!

Hello: Does anyone have a recipe for the red salsa served at Maria’s New Mexican Kitchen in Santa Fe? Thanks!
Does anyone have some advice on how to go about shipping internationally? We are asking everyone we know to see if someone can also explain their process in layman’s terms instead of all the complicated info on web sites. It’s really quite overwhelming to me! Specifically to Canada, tariffs, taxes, etc. Do you have a statement on your web site explaining to the customer how the process works that I could look at also? Thanks for helping us out with this! It’s got me a little crazy! :}
Sorry but the above comment about shipping internationally is from us here at Redd-Eye Brand, for some reason that was left off unintentionally. AAAA!

LeeAnne,
Being located in Canada, I can tell you it’s not that scary to ship to us.
Depending on how you are shipping your product into Canada (I would recommend USPS) the receiver is responsible for all customs and duty costs.
All you need to do it have that disclaimer on your site and you’re done.
Here’s our FAQ page: http://www.unclebigshotsauce.com/ecomm/faqs.php
We have never had any issues in three years of web sales.
If you ship via UPS, that’s a whole other story, I suggest not shipping internationally with them.
