Default Hot sauce on new food failures

You think "hey, maybe this will be good with hot sauce(or anything spicy)!" and try it and end up feeling like you just wasted both the sauce/pepper and the food.

I put some jalepenos in water the other day(figured flavored water is a big thing now, so why not?). At first it was barely noticeable. Then when I had less than half a glass left each sip made me feel like I was going to throw up.

Hi,

the idea isn’t bad I would try it.

But I think the taste doesn’t been that well, if it’s mixed.
I think Jalapenos are a bit too herbaceous to be combined with water.

Some days ago I try some passion fruit juice with a Habanero.
I cut the Habanero a small as I could and put it in 20 cl of this juice, the next day I mixed some of the juice with the a bit of the “normal” passion fruit juice.

The first moment you don’t recognize the heat, but a few second later you got a nice punch from the mighty Habanero. The taste and the heat are great, but your throat will not like it.

I found a recipe for jalapeno lemonade if someone is interested:

JALAPENO LEMONADE

Bye

I gotta agree with Hellmaster. The idea is right, I think you just went about it the wrong way. I'm not a big water drinker, since I personally think H20 is generally polluted, but I mix several of our sauces in various drinks, I'll have to try some of them in water.

maybe for the water you should try CaJohn's Frostbite. It is a little sweeter and doesn't have the extract taste. I have had it in bloody marys, but I never tried it with water though.
