Weirdest Food w/ Hot Sauce
What's the weirdest food you've eaten with hot sauce?
I would have to say cheesecake with hot sauce (on top) was quite different. Hot sauces on pasta are also new to me, but I'm really enjoying Basil Serrano Green bandit sauce in my marinara - so I guess it's not that weird.

Actually, they're quite good...Kind of an acquired taste. I learned early to like anchovies. At many parties in my formative years, we'd order a bunch of pizzas at 3am, no one would eat the one with the anchovies on it that I ordered, hence a happy belly. But dredge them in egg and panko flakes, fry 'em up, and you'd be surprised. I want to make an anchovy tempura, but just haven't gotten around to it yet.

Tastes like chicken!
Man I love frog legs. Never had them with grits though, but wouldn't be unusual in my neck of the woods. Used to go frog gigging with my dad when I was a kid, was always scared to death of getting snakebit. I remember dad cooking the fresh legs, so fresh that they would jump right out of the pan when they hit the grease, literally!
In the coastal areas of SC you see a lot of shrimp and grits, never had it though. It's a really popular dish in Charleston, SC. Would rather try the frog legs though.

Ostrich burgers work wonders with a good mustard-based chilli sauce... I get through a couple a month...
...in fact it's pretty much every time I have a burger, mainly because I don't eat beef... (British - BSE scare in the nineties - got out of the habit... you can imagine the rest)

I can't be the only one putting hot sauce in the brownies, right? A box of Duncan Hines, about 1.5 tablespoons of El Yucateca...and...glory!
Also, Capt. Mowbray's Fireberry sauce on top of brownies.
I mean, it ain't much compared to snapping turtle, but I do get odd looks!
