Now that I can post i thought I'd do an introduction post...
To my friends and family I'm know for my spicy food. And for the last few months my fiery beef jerky. Every week is a new experiment (or 3) for the folks I work with to try out as time has progressed I've developed small handful of "winnner" marinades for jerky.
I'm lucky enough to live in within 10 minutes of CaJohns and yet had never tried his sauces until recently. His #10 was so fantastic I simply had to include it in a marinade. I'd promised to bring him some but I wasn't 100% satisfied with it. Tonight I'm going to try a couple variations on my stock recipes incorporating the sauce again. they'll have just enough time to go through marination and dehydration for me to be able to bring them to the show.
I look forward to talking with each and every one of you.
Oddly enough my co workers loved that and the second batach I made using #10. I pulled a tray from the marinade about a day early to test the newest batch. I'm pretty darn happy with this batch.
I've got a teriyaki based milder verision that I'm cooking up tonight that I'll be bringing as well.
