Almost a virgin...
This isn't my first post, but I thought I should introduce myself nonetheless. I'm Dave, the owner of Off Road Fire Co. My wife Jacqueline and I started it after all (most) of our friends kept asking for more of my pepper sauce. I have been making hot sauce for a number of years now, and we decided to finally try our hand at a commercial product. Whew! Really fun though...
I got into hot things at a very young age - when I lived in Florida, in the early 70's, I was walking in the neighborhood with another kid. I forget his name. He hands me a big piece of orange 'candy' and says something like 'you gotta try it'. Mmm, a big piece of shiny, orange, candy. So, I pop it in my mouth and start chewing. Next thing I remember is sitting in some ladies utility room while she makes me drink water... nice. Whole habanero's are tough for a five year old's tender taste buds.
