Melinda’s Red Savina
Going through some old digital photos and I came across this shot. It’s a bottle of Melinda’s Red Savina on the 55th floor of the Empire State Building. Now, I’ve never seen a picture of a bottle of hot sauce overlooking lower Manhattan, have you? My motivation behind taking this shot was a odd idea that struck me. Why not do a bit on the blog with images of hot sauce bottles in weird locations.
So here we go, a new bit about hot sauce bottles in wierd locations. Feel free to send yours (send to nick ‘at’ hotsauceblog.com) and I’ll put it up as well.

This bottle crossed my desk sometime ago and when I first looked at it, I couldn’t figure out why it had been sent to me – other then the old label. But then I took a look at the price tag.
A mere $0.20 for a bottle of hot sauce? It cost more then that just to mail it to me!
I supposed that the shop was trying to clearance their inventory or something, as this label is quite old.
By far this is the cheapest I’ve ever seen a bottle of Dave’s hot sauces go for.
Too funny.
