The long windedness and attempted philosophical attempts to the justification of whatever gets said are the best comments to read, then later in the thread watching the supposed offender trying to make it look like it was nothing and was all taken out of context comment is usually the best because everyone knows it is malarky and he is trying to just make them selves look good (which always does the opposite).

Ever think about banning offenders and arguers. As soon as something happens a thread goes up saying so and so is disqualified? Might keep people from getting involved in the stuff (except those like me that will not enter these contests People like me just instigate it hehee now that could actually be funny, just say stuff here and there about this and that to get a rise out of some people

Nope I would not do that,…However I know there are others that would to try to get others disqualified, but the thing, or gift would be, to be able to say stuff without disqualifying yourself, and have others react to it. That would be someone worthy of winning with writing talents like that and a creative enough imagination.
I am of course completely joking with this line of topic, but ya gotta admit… there have been some interesting contest threads here

All right, I do care. Yup- I’m a phony I can certainly argue the ‘knowing everything’ part! Sent the essay in, haven’t heard back. Can’t say I’ll be disappointed if they don’t pick me though- life is just about as full as it can be at the moment! Sorry to disapoint you, but even if I were going to enter this one, I find nothing wrong with the way this one has been set up. This is as fair as it could possibly be, and thankfully, nobody will be able to complain that any of the judges’ votes count for more than any of the others. Nice job Nick, and I mean that sincerely.

I figured it was a general statement, but I have complained about things in the past, which usually gets people on the bandwagon of bash Ryan (Newman and whoever else was doing it). My statement was meant to be sarcastic, but the unfortunate thing about a typed dialogue is that the tone of the dialogue is not easily conveyed. Guess I should add something to my comments to let the reader know. Anywho, I gotta go get a new monitor. Mine is dead and I’m using the wife’s computer.

As for the horseradish eating contest, I’ll have to think about that one, and make sure I can make enough of it. It’s not the easiest thing finding GOOD fresh horseradish root.

You don’t “HAVE” to listthat way, but I would recommend it. Others may or may not agree, but there are non bloggers out there.
