The Fancy Food Show returns to New York for an even bigger and better show this year!

Huvason - You really should try to go, even if just for one day. There are some hot foods vendors (Blair, Art of Chipotle, Dave, Daniel’s Fire Roast & Joe Perry were there last year) - but beyond that, it’s a huge show! It takes at least 2 days to cover the entire show floor and there’s two levels - the wife likes to go to try all the free samples.

The twirling Nationals start that weekend in SAvannah Ga.. It all depends on when I am leaving - But I think I leave the 9th and come back the 17th.
Like I said– story of my Life.
Huv, the show is awesome (you HAVE to try the Divina garlic-stuffed green olives), remember one thing, BRING YOUR APPETITE!!! We’re still debating whether or not to get a booth (it ain’t cheap), either way, we’ll definitely be there. Oh yeah, and there’s beer! This is most definitely a NO MISS show.

Really try man, I mean where else in NYC can you pay $40, and gorge yourself with hundreds if not thousands of gourmet foods from around the world in one place? Oh yeah, and there’s beer.
We are driving. Maybe i’ll tell her I need a bathroom break, and swing by the Javits Center
I guess it all depends on what time we leave - but it’s not looking good.
We will be attnedees there. Loved it last year! Actualy ate a habenero stuffed olive last year. Couldn’t breath or talk for like two hours, but the free margarita helped alot! LOL What my luck they were in the same booth! Anyway, Lisa, Kristi and I will be there! Oh, yea, and I will be wearing more comfortable shoes this go around! No more blisters for me! Walking to the ferry was not a fun thing, never mind to Lisa’s truck in the ferry parking lot in Weehawken! OUCH!

LOL. Believe it or not, I think we are leaving Saturday NIGHT! Of course I am driving 15 hours straight, but I guess I could stop by the show! If I can I will.
As far as paypal - i’ve always had it. I just haven’t sold anything yet! I was going to sell some sauce and stuff but I can’t part with any of it I MAY put one of my ZERO Batch 1 up, depending on what happens with the current auction!

quit stalling, once you do you’ll see how easy it is and you can buy more sauce
Bummer, I am in Colorado over that period of time, but if I don’t take my wife on vacation after getting to go to the FFS and going to Ft. Worth, she’ll sue me. Kari is a lawyer and when I say she’ll sue me I ain’t kiddin!! I hope there will be lots of pics on the Blog so we can keep track of you all!
The show is just an awesome display of what the specialty food manufacturers have to offer. There are many supplier types there as well. You never know what celebs you might run into or see as well. Most of the Food Network stars are there promoting the items they have licensed or their own lines. Exhitors from all over the world show their wares. It’s a good time as well, BUT not like a Fiery Food Show!

Well, I’m trying to get my restaurant’s owners to fund a little trip for me - but it doesn’t look like it’s going to happen. I BS’d them about how great it would be and all the new things I would discover, but they’re just too old fashioned! Also, July is pretty much our busiest in Northern MI, so I’d say it’s a no go.
I’ve booked rooms and got my passes all lined up. This one is a can’t miss.
This show starts Sunday - correct? I thought someone told me it starts Saturday (if it does, I may be able to make it!)

Thanx for the info… We changed our plans from driving to flying to Ga, but we are leaving on Sunday (7am flight).
Anyone that’s going to this show and wants to meet for drinks/dinner on Sunday night just drop me a line - We’ll have to find a place that will put up with all of us

Those of you who are going for the first time, prepare to be blown away with the variety and selection of foods! It is the most awesome food show presented here in the US! There is only one bigger, and it’s in France. Enjoy!

CaJohn is absolutely correct. Where else in Manhatten can you go and enjoy ultra high quality foods from hundreds of countries, all you can eat style, for $35.00? The show is awesome, I’m fasting for 2 days beforehand this time around.

John happy 4th. The show in France is so BIG. been there 2 times. New York show I like better. 2 years ago I gave a speech to over 2000 people at the show. On Foods from around the world. It was way cool. Any one thats going you will have a great time.
