First off, a big thank you to all that have been participating in the HSB. I’m not quite sure what caused the explosion in comments, be it the Top Commentors list or the Email Notification box, but whatever it is please keep it up. We had over 150+ comments yesterday alone!
Comments are now on auto approval, so they appear automatically after posting if you meet certain criteria. If your post contains a link it will be held by default to hinder any comment spam efforts.
However, please refrain from posting comments such as “#123!” - Yes, I’m quite impressed you’ve commented that many time here on the HSB, but attempts to artifically inflate your comment count will be edited from this point on. It keeps the playing field even for everyone this way.
Cheers!

I used the notification checkbox on the Captain Capsicum post and was very suprised to see my inbox was full of HSB replies this AM. I guess I need to get on the ball also or I will be bumped from the top 20 list. I’m only slightly behind DEFCON Creator, so it ain’t all bad
.
Got the message! Sorry ![]()

‘hahaha I actually have to run and get lunch and ashes (Ash Wednsday no meat for us Catholics today) Beer is not considered a meat thank God’
If beer was a meat then I think a few of us would be in trouble cause I eat enough meat as it is! Anyways, It does seem as if a few people just like to make a bunch of separate little posts one after another adding to the padding of # of comments! haha Either way the more conversation the better I say!
we are not all gifted in making complete sentences
sometimes it takes us multiple times to get out what we are saying because of all the random thoughts
Well I have just been reading the Caption this page, I personally only posted two but both comments were on the overly obvious ring of fire position. ![]()
I am on behalf of the others that apparently got a little carried away (although I saw no such signs of that in my recent reading) sorry Mr. Creator of the Defcon 0-?? I am sure based on what I have come to know of a few of these d00ds that they probably just got caught up in the moment. I think that when you put allot of different personalities and different levels of egos in a situation, someone will unfortunatly push the limits of others, however unintentional. Mostly I believe this to happen because there are different levels of acceptable humor, and I say this with great conviction as I have several times in my day (and I have had a few day at my age) pushed the limits of acceptible humor, however hillarious it seemed at the time, speaking without thinking of how others might react got the better of me. So once again, I hope there are no hard feelings towards each other here on the blog. We are a small community and I have recenltly sent an e-mail for submission on how I feel this little community might try to help each other rather than hord the attention for ones self.
Thanks for your time everyone.
Regards to all,
Paul MacDonald

P.S.
and i say this with light humor … Defcon 0 is the unspoken Defcon cuz if you need to escalate from D1 there is only one obvious outcome of whats left, lets hope we never have to experience that.
Paul, that was very insightful and spoken like a true diplomat. Diplomacy is something we more of when something like this happens. Thank you Paul for giving us a great example to follow.

150+ comments alone yesterday? There was just like 90 comments alone while I slept last night, something tells me my reigning title in the top 10 is not going to last long.
