Thanks to Sam from Zane & Zachs for alerting HSB readers to the latest scam in the chile pepper world. It seems that this new crop of scammers are specifically targeting manufacturers reviewed on the HSB. Please note that the Hot Sauce Blog is in no way affiliated with this group nor can we nor do we endorse doing business with them. This scam is very similiar to an earlier scam brought to our attention previously.

I don’t think any HSBers would fall for this, we are all smarter than that. I just wanted to bring it to everyones attention.

I don’t need to sell anymore sauce since my email address won $26 Million US Dollars the UK Internet Lottery, and the dead minister of finance of Nigeria’s son paid me $5 million US dollars to help transfer the money he has been hiding from the Nigerian Govt.

Yeah I got relatives there too and I didn’t even know it. I had to send them $5000, but that is just to process the paperwork for my inheritance of my long lost Uncle Bukakke. Get this, the lawyers were smart enough to trackdown my email address, but thought my real name at first was Albuddah. I told them they had it wrong, but once I informed them what my real name was they noticed the error in the paperwork and apologized immediately. Such nice fellows. As soon as the money wire is complete in a couple of weeks I should be getting $25 million before taxes. I will be ordering a lot of hot sauce after that. :D

What a coincidence! The Prince of Quatar just emailed me and he needs to get 10 million dollars out of the country without his father knowing and he picked me to help him! It’s such a shame the other members of his family were killed in a plane crash last year…

Man, you guys are lucky. All I got was a life time supply of vyagria - they assured me it was legit and the labels were misprinted. - that’s why it was so cheap

I nominate this post of the month. LOL

Such a serious thread, but it is the funniest one I have read on here. Monkey punching I think might live on for a while here. Too funny.

This is getting ridiculous. In the time I have been reading… and laughing at this thread, I have received 3 more of these exact type of emails.

Has the whole world gone mental? Does anyone really believe any of this crap? How many Nigerian Ministers of finance has there been in the last 2 years? My count is up to 350 or so. And what is the deal with the CAPS LOCK key in Nigeria anyway? Are they all stuck? If one of you spam bastards ever sent me an email in lower case I might accidentally read it. I say we start a program making it illegal to send keyboards with a Caps Lock button to Nigeria all together.

You are are all idiots…. believing this crap from NIGERIA. I just got a REAL one from a Mr. Brinsford from a “well known bank in LONDON”. Man - I am going to be loaded - LOL. I dont want to give the details away, but it is totally risk free. Mr Brinsford swears it.

LOL

One of our accounts, with holding balance of £15,000,000 (Fifteen Million Pounds Sterling) has been dormant and last operated four years ago. From my investigations and confirmation, the owner of the said account, a foreigner by name Paul Wood died on the 4th of January 2003 in a car accident that occurred in Birmingham here in UK.

Since then, nobody has done anything as regards the claiming of this money, as he has no family member that has any knowledge as to the existence of either the account or the funds; and also Information from the National Immigration also states that he was single on entry into the UK.

I have confidently discussed this issue with some of the bank officials and we have agreed to find a reliable foreign partner to deal with. We therefore propose to do business with you, standing in as the next of kin of these funds from the deceased and funds released to you after due processes have been followed.

This transaction is totally free of risk and troubles as the fund is legitimate and does not originate from drug, money laundry, terrorism or any other illegal act.

Fat Kid Sauces,

What a hugely unlucky year for Paul Wood, who was also killed in a plane crash in Birmingham on 4th January in the previous year. This time he carelessly left $126,000,000 in his account.

I wouldn’t even bother with the £15,000,000 sterling. It must have been the other partner in the bank who wrote to me - Mr. Kent Grey:

Please accept my sincere apologizes if my email does not meet your business or personal ethics. I will first introduce myself as Mr Kent Grey Partner a staff in the Accounts Management Section of a well-known bank, here in London,England .

Mr. Charles Arisa, you will be interested to know, has also targeted the natural products industry, as evidenced by the email we received here at Lafe’s. When I googled him, this was the first site that hit. Thanks, all of you, because I never had so much fun punching monkeys & gettin’ rich from all these banks insistent on giving away money!
