Sorry for the delay, but here is Madisyn enjoying the stroller that was purchased with the generous gift from the HSB. This thing folds tiny, and is completely waterproof - really cool.
The entire Huvason clan again wishes to thank everyone for their generosity.

Above are the pics of my latest experiment (see the first here). I was originally going to do a half Talon and half “10″ pizza, but I did a test of talon vs 10, and the 10 was so much hotter and better that I decided against it.
It is a sad day. Talon, my long time favorite, is my favorite no more. Move over Talon, “10″ is here to stay. The “10″ is not only much hotter than the Talon, but also takes way the Fatalli bite that I find in Talon (and Fatalli fire). The picture of the pizza with the sauce has the right side with PURE “10″ and left side with a 50/50 mixture of sauce and “10″. Of course the “10″ side was MUCH hotter than the other, but the other side honestly had more flavor (with a good amount of heat). This sauce reminds me a lot like my wife’s family. It sneaks up on you, and stays around way too long! You get a nice all around burn of the mouth for a good 15-20 minutes. Of course after the first slice, the others go down way easier. As you can see by the empty bottle, I need more! And yes, I ate the spoonful of “10″ I poured!

Label Description Talon, the weapon of birds of prey, rapier-like in its efficiency to kill or maim their victims. The Fatalii, a Central South African Habanero, is shaped much like a talon. The Red Savina Habanero is the Guinness Book of World Record’s hottest spice. I put these two tongue torching chiles together to create one of the hottest non-extract sauces I have ever tasted. Truly a fire that will challenge the limits of the most ardent Chilihead. I don’t know if this sauce will maim you, but its piercing heat is definitely worthy of the name ~ CaJohn
Ingredients: Fatalii Chiles, Red Savina Habanero Chiles, Distilled Vinegar.
Appearance: DEEP Red in color! Nothing put peppers in this baby.
Smell: Nice Red Savina Habanero Smell. Smells a lot like some Red Savina mash I have laying around pure music for my nostrils!
Heat: 9.0/10.0 (tough to rate as I like REAL hot stuff). Consistent, immediate heat. Not for the faint of heart - this stuff packs a punch.
Uses: I’ve used this in just about everything this week. Great pepper flavor, no vinegar taste. It started with Pizza the first night I got the bottle. It was great - killed about half the bottle that night. Loved it on fresh chicken breast, and turkey burgers. But my favorite use was in Mrs. Huvason’s spaghetti sauce. WOW was that good. Took my wife’s great sauce and brought the heat up to a respectable level. Since it’s just peppers, it didn’t mess at all with the flavor of the sauce, just added nice heat to it. The beauty of Talon is that you can add as little or as much as you can handle! As you can see from the pics, the more the better!

Closing: This bottle is already gone. It certainly lives up to CaJohns claim of being “one of the hottest non-extract sauces” - by far the hottest non-extract sauce I have had the pleasure of consuming. Talon Hot Sauce is very hot, however, so be careful. It’s not for the friends\family who think they can eat anything (unless of course they are from the wife’s side of the family ? ). Pure pepper taste, which I happen to love. Can be used to heat up just about anything. Highly recommended.
Overall rating: 9.5/10.0 - Must try.

I came home tonight - another night working late, and what do I find. My DEFCON sauces throwing a HUGE party. Man I was pissed. The 2 new DEFCON children were asleep in their bed. Those kids need their sleep!
Then I look further, and oh my - what is that… the sauces kidnapped the Homunculus! Tied up in the shower no less. I couldn’t believe it! They must have kidnapped him last Saturday during the chicken wing eating contest. Those crazy kids. Not sure which one(s) were responsible - they weren’t talking.
They have not left any ransom demands as of yet!

One year ago: Pour it on: Tennessee River Barbeque Sauce
Label Description – “Beyond Hottest”
Ingredients: Corn Syrup, Natural Pepper Flavor (Contains Soybean Oil), Habanero Powder, Ancho Powder, Spices.
From Blair’s Site: “FOR THE MANIAC IN YOUR LIFE OR YOU…The Hottest Dry Spice Ever….Nitro is here..BLOW YOUR SKULL OFF HOT” and “This is Mad…Blair has made his Mega Death Sauce in a Dry form. This 1.5 oz Shaker Bottle is Full of Hell…Pure Extract has been Sprayed on Habanero Powder …Feel Alive and Good luck
Handle with Extreme Caution. Also product is sensitive to Sunlight and Temperatures over 86f. Product could harden under those conditions”
Appearance: DEEP Red in color. Looks like dried Mega Death!
Smell: Pure Habanero Smell. Definitely clears the sinuses!
Heat: 9.0/10.0 (tough to rate as I like REAL hot stuff). Consistent, immediate heat. My lips were still tingling 10 minutes after eating. Not sure why Blair added any additional spices, there is no way you can taste them!
Use: Tonight was meatloaf night. Usually I’ll break out my Jersey Death, and mix up a nice sauce, but tonight I broke out the NITRO. Be Careful when pouring. Like Clint pointed out in his Death Rain – Habanero review, when you open the top, there is no way to control the pour. If you are not careful, it will cover your food which was great for me because that’s exactly what I wanted.

I probably over did it as it overpowered the food slightly, but it was good. Nice and hot. I can’t wait for grilling season to add this to my chicken/beef rub - I think it will make it fantastic. I wish I had given it to my wife to put IN the meatloaf. I think it would have been even better evenly distributed through the meat.

Closing: Definitely a keeper and a must for all – not just one bottle either! I had been using simple ground habanero to add to my food. That bottle is going bye-bye, and will be replaced by NITRO. It’s also small enough to carry around so you can use it when you go out (although I am a little nervous to try that as it may open – and then FORGET IT!). I think I’ll find a new container, and then I’ll have it with me where ever I go.
