don’t think it will end anywhere near my price range tho. Does anyone have a higher number one that they’s be willing to part with? OR a 5am
My wife will disown me if I bid on this… Oh Well………
Yeah, spotted that yesterday as well - nice item!!
go for it!!!!!
What is a decent price it?
Ack! Fingers got too excited.
What is a decent price for a 4AM?
Ive seen them go from 300 to over 450 lately. Depending on the condition and number.
For #72 I’d pay $550 - $600. I know they have gone for more - Much more
Jezza did u hear whether those 3ams were signed and numbered? I still haven’t received mine yet so I couldn’t tell you
I was gonna sell my #642 but just could not do it. I told myself I need the money but NOT gonna sell my Blair’s stuff to get it. Check out the related post about the #642 at the top of this section. ![]()
wow…
does that mean ur goin for it then Mad? Add it to your newly established larger collection
I’d love to but I got some money aside for some other stuff. My wife will kill me. I spent a small fortune in NM
If only it was goin in a months time - I get £412 tax return and my student loan instalment! If only they hadn’t taxed me in the 1st place - but then again I’d probably have spent it already ![]()
Talk to eman! OOPPS I might piss sombody else off on that comment

I take it that generally the lower the number the higher the value?

Don’t mean to bring attention to this, but why would it annoy someone? Has eman got a few then I take it?
Yes and no. I’d say the top 20 would get a permium. Or, If you were able to get a set of all the same number (which is my next venture) Definatly #1 and the last number will fecth a pretty penny. Or some whacky number like a 6 of 66. or a 9 of 99 (my holiday reserve)
Ohhhh boy, Im thinking about selling my Z28 again for hot sauce. Someone please talk me out of it.
Z28 tell me more????
Well my problem is that I have 2 hobbies. #1 HOT SAUCE and #2 Drag racing. Not the most cheap hobbies out there. Ive been kind of out of the racing thing for a while (just not into it right now) and though about selling the car to buy a TON of sauce. Its just a 95 6 speed Z28 with some minor mods done to it. I know if I sell it I will just kick myself later because I just cant get the racing bug out of me.

Thats a rather large collection that you are bidding on there MAD.

Thanks Jezza - I’ve sent them another email today so hopefully they’ll get back to one of us soon - even better if it arrives 2moro
Shhhhhhhh don’t tell my wife.
I’ll keep you informed anyway if your still interested. I haven’t had a new sauce in ages and its starting to get to me now. lol

Ill be quiet if you let me fondle one of those new cutting room floor bottles.
How about if you fondle my wife instead
I think I’m going to forget a shrine cabinet and just add another room to the house. Along with a killer death ray security system
Yeah, please do Matt - I’ve been after a numbered 3am for some time now, but generally when they’ve come up on ebay they’ve not been available to the UK, so to find one locally would be ideal!
I know what you mean about not getting a new bottle for a while and it takes alot of discipline to prevent yourself from just going out and buying whatever is currently available - what you’re looking for inevitably seems to come up just after you’ve spent all your cash, lol
I’ve recently picked up a few new ones though so can’t really complain.

Haaaaaaa!!!! It was worth a try. Go get those sum bitches and put some pics up here. Cant wait to see what they look like.
I definately know what you mean there Jezza
Jezza are you bidding on this 4am or is it someone else from the UK?
Yep I placed a bid on it - not even enough to meet the reserve price though so we’ll have to see what happens… I’ve got a holiday coming up soon as well so need to be careful!
Ouch what a nice thing it would be to get that. I did just get paid though!
jezza are you aunty101 then? Was it you that got the caldera the other week - did you say something about it getting damaged in shipping?
Heres something pretty cool on ebay.
Ooops, forgot to rename it. Sorry Nick.
Hey Nick and fellow HSBers.
Nick, Thanks for posting my listing. I love this site. I’ve wanted to see somthing like this for a long time. I will be very active here in the future.
HSBers, I’m ErricJ and I have an extensive colection. I have the distinction of owning the #1 bottle of both the Blair’s 4am and 6am from day 1. I’m glad to be a part of this. If you have any questions for me regarding my listing or my collection or anything feel free to ask.

Well chris k, about 20 NEW bottles of Blair’s alone. All ones I dont have. Some are common, some not. And all the stuff we got last weekend. I think we are going to clean out the CaJohns this weekend.
Thats true. I would check into it. It might cost a bit because they may say it is not valued at what you say it is. Mad mentioned something earlier today about getting an alarm. Not sure if he was serious.

Hopefuly we can all do that at ZESTFEST in sept.

Hardly out of the kitchen Chris, we’re just getting started! Trying to perfect a new sauce for Sept. Trying to get it to production in time for all you chiliheads. maybe instead of T-shirts, all you guys should shave your heads and let Cajohn sign ‘em. We’d know the HSB’ers anywhere that way.

Aaaaaah, No, no shaved head for me. Maybe a buzz-cut or something, but there needs to be some hair.
Sorry MSK.
Well if there must be hair, at least have him sign your forehead or something. Where do you live, what state?
We actually had to make reservations for a hotel in the area already. Called a few places just to get prices and stuff and a ton of them were already booked for that weekend. Crazy!

What bag, wait a minute. Why do I need a bunch of markers?
Well how else are people going to sign your forehead, silly. Theres no quittin now.
Jeff B-99 is rarer, there were only 99 but the 4am has an imaginary infated price tage because of the story of one going for 5k at some auction. probably also for the illusion of gold which is a sense of value visually.
Either way 4am will probably get more per bottle currently. Give it a few years when you never see a B-99 N59 Holiday 05 on the market they will get some serious cash then probalby

Kristi….I think it was just something I picked up at Wally-World. I’ve used a few variations but that one worked out the best. I would suggest replacing the markers every year. The ones I had were from ABQ 2005. By the end of the show most were in the trash because they dried up.
Please do email. I have a suggestion and a request for the ZF

Jeff - Yeah, that’s a square trade. The 4AM’s have a higher value now, so you’re probably getting the better end of the bargin - but it all boils down to what the other guy needs.
Nick: thanks again for your valued feedback!
Are you going to a track for the N59’s across the country?
Here is an interesting one for all:
- has anyone been successful in obtaining insurance on their Blair’s collection? Details on appraisels or individual riders? All comments appreciated!
Thanks for that info MSK, do you really want me to have the same bag? ![]()
Ryan, see you later, dont sleep with that helmet on…lol
Not to give you a bad visual, but when I go to bed, there’s nothing…not even the prized helmet…which I may sign and put up for auction ![]()
Jeff - another thing to consider is that originally, the 4AM was the first limited edition reserve that Blair made. The 2 and 3 AM’s are an open series, even though they are no longer numbered. That’s another reason that the 4AM demands a higher premium. Not to mention, every time you hear about someone trying some 4AM and talk about how hot it is, the remaining ones in mint condition just became that much more rare…
I have insurance on them. They didn’t specifically appraise them I think it’s under our “umbrella”. I had to list everything I wanted insured, tools, jewlery, hot sauce, etc. They just gave me a premium and that was that. I can say this though. You pay out the ying yang for insurance and when you need it, no matter how careful you read the policy, it turns out you not covered.
I realize that i’m a Johnny Come Lately, but welcome to our obsession Erric. Be sure to get the full tour before you make a final decision to join us in our madness…you may have to think twice ![]()

I did a straight trade with a Holiday ‘05 I had (i don’t remember the number, but it was nothing special) For a 4A.M. guy seemed happy to do it (I know I was) and the best part was that he approached me about it. So based on the look of B-99 hell yeah its a fair trade in comparison to what I did. People trade that rocks. Just takes a while to find them sometimes. You might go to list a bottle on eBay and as soon as someone sees it they might say…hmm were you looking to do a straight trade this for that. Sometimes you get nice and Lucky!
Lets hear it for - Yin & Yang, Karma and 888.

I’ve recently picked up a few new ones though so can’t really complain.
Jezza it has arrived - I got a message this morning to say it has. I’ll keep you posted whether it’s numbered - It’s in my house mates room at the moment and she isn’t in
I just wana know if it’s numbered!!!! lol. I wonder what number it is…..wonder if she has a spair key anywhere…..hmmmmmm ![]()
Yeah I got in - she came in when I was in there - she didn’t mind tho
oops caught in the act!!
Nice one Matt, fingers crossed eh!
Jezza don’t order a 3am from Chilliworld - they are NOT numbered. He must have lied in his email to me or sold out recently. I received a non-numbered when I payed for numbered!!! I already have one of those and can get them at nearly half the price
Im goin for food before I explode!! It’s on its way back tomorrow with Royal Mail. Sorry Jezza
Hard luck Matt, but thanks for keeping us posted!
And the search goes on….

Yeah you’ll have to let me know if you find one before me. lol.
Did you hear anything about those numbered 2ams we were interested in? was it Scott that was goin to a shop that may sell them?
Fear not Matt, if I find more than 1, you’ll be the first to know
Yeah, I think it was Scott who mentioned a store that may have numbered 2am’s some left… not seen anything since though
Matt did you pass out?

Here is what i am thinking
Red T-shirt
Your name on right front - pocket height
TEAM HSB on left front
Screen name -large- on upper back
number of your choice on back center
Count me in!!!!!!!!
Yeah, it was me. Went there yesterday an no go. Sold them last week. ![]()
This presents me with a dilemma since I have my own logo on t-shirts. I bring several to the shows to wear all day every day.
BUT…..I’m in!!!!!

Great - thanks for this detail. I will see what happens looking for a trade for a 4 am…

Nick - Totally off the topic, but my wife is threatening to take a baseball bat to my collection if I don’t post this…
She wants to suggest a WSB (Women’s (wives) Support Blog) for those that feel the HSB has become “the other woman”.
Kidding about the bat thing, she wouldn’t do that.
…yet

Tell het to join on in the fun! She doesn’t know what she is missing!

Sure, how do you want it? Straight up, w/ tonic/ or in a martini glass drinking it straight up anyway, just looking cool while doing it? Oh, and we can add some spicy olives to it in the martini glass. ![]()

LOL I don’t care how it’s made really. Gotta spice it up no doubt though!
Man huvason I know the feeling. A few weeks ago I worked from 11:30 pm to 9:00 am. Needless to say that messed me up bad. How weird that felt!!
you guys drink for me!
Wow, the #72 just went for 1000 bucks!!!!!!
Very nice for the person making the money! I doubt I will ever have that much expendable cash but here’s hoping!!

Now thas some serious money!!
To think how many were made and the original price that is one hell of a profit! I was expecting it to go for around $600-$700
Someone really wants it!

My guess is he doesn’t need the money. He also owns #1 4AM #1 6AM and #3 5AM. It was fun watching the last minute of bidding though.
No invoice yet. But no rush either. ![]()
I own the #1 3AM.
Did you say a full grand? Holy cow! Brain overload!
I agree Lisa, what a sweetie!

whoa I didn’t realize that. Quite awesome!!
And to be quite honest thakswet, I think that is worth way more than the #1 4AM IMO but that is all it is is an opinion, it is older, that is #1 of 75, not #1 of 999, everything about it should make it rarer and more valuable. But put both on eBay and people would go more apeshit than the pre am or Prototype caldera 1/1 for the #1 4AM. And the 3 AM would get some nice coin i bet not even a grand. (although maybe it would today as prices seem to be going up a little)

Do you have any pics of it since Blair pimped it. (restored it) LOL.
I’ll put pics up tomorrow evening. Nick can post them when he wants.
Sweeeet.
I’d say that’s a keeper. Hey speaking of Blair any word from the man himself? He must be cooking up somthing
pmac I agree with you. It will be along time until I ever decide to ebay (verb) it. $1,000 is nothing compared to this treasure I received.
I am going to list my Blair’s 4 am # 814 for sale on ebay soon. its in mint condition i only took it out of its case once i have the Disclaimer & Release Waiver that came with it . IF ANYONE WANTS TO MAKE ME A OFFER BEFORE I POST IT ON EBAY PLEASE E MAIL ME AT {EDIT: Get email from nick}

don’t think it will end anywhere near my price range tho. Does anyone have a higher number one that they’s be willing to part with? OR a 5am
i have a blairs 5am reserve #10 anyone intrested
I’m sure there will be plenty interested, but you have to keep something in mind: Single-digit (which are significantly more valuable than a double-digit, even it’s a close number) bottles of 5AM *might* (and that’s a big maybe) bring $1000. Most very low two-digits I’ve seen have had empty auction results even at $700. If you’re looking to get somewhere in the ballpark of $600 or less, you may have a buyer. Anything over $750 or so - much less ANYTHING in the four figure range - and you’ll probably be sitting on that bottle for a LONG time.
Not trying to be rude…just trying to be helpful in telling you the market, and helping you move the bottle.

I have 14 Blairs 4am still in original box # 22 to 50 I purchased from them when I used to sell hotsauce. forgot all about them. What do you think they are worth, Steve
