The Cajun Hot Sauce Festival will be held this weekend at the SugArena, 713 Northwest Bypass (Hwy. 3212) in New Iberia. The festival will feature a Cajun food court, a People’s Choice Hot Sauce Competition, arts and crafts, a carnival, helicopter rides, a Queen’s Pageant, an exotic petting zoo, a kids’ playground and a Tabasco jambalaya cookoff.
The following is the event’s entertainment schedule:
Friday: Jaryd Lane, 7 p.m.; Billy Currington, 9 p.m.; Jamie Bergeron & The Kickin’ Cajuns, 11 p.m.
Saturday: Hwy. 329, noon; Terry Broussard & The Zydeco Sidesteppers, 1 p.m.; Cracker Jackson, 3 p.m.; Cajun Nation, 5 p.m.; T.K. Hulin & G.G. Shinn, 7 p.m.; The Blue Eyed Soul Revue, 9:30 p.m.; Percy Sledge with The Blue Eyed Soul Revue, 10 p.m.; The Blue Eyed Soul Revue, 11:30 p.m.
Sunday: Jr. Flores, 10 a.m.; Geno Delafose, noon; SpitKup, 2 p.m.; Tabasco Girls with Rosie Ledet, 4 p.m.
General admission is $20 for the Friday and Saturday concerts. Sunday’s performances are free.

I am a little confused every year my husband and I look forward to going to the Hot Sauce Festival on the radio I have heard that Travis Matte is playing on Friday night and never once did I hear that Percy Sledge was playing on Saturday. Please let me know who is playing on Firday and Saturday we really would appreciate your help. Thank you so much.
