Wish I could make it, but I have 2 weddings to cater that weekend. I will be excited to read any reviews from those that get to go.

Naw, it’s the CAJUN Hot Sauce Festival. They really know how to “pass a good time” down there. We have been there the last 2 years. In fact the first time we went down there, the local paper sort of laughed that there was a hot sauce company from Ohio going to be in attendance. We entered the competition in all 5 categories against all the local Big Boys (McIlhenny (you know), Bruce Foods (Louisiana Brand & Louisiana Gold) plus several More, and we won 3 1st place and 2nd in the other 2! We also won best of show for the highest score. Also scored back-door tours of Bruce Foods and Tabasco! Very cool to see how they do it.

Last year there were many more competitors from all over and we won 1 category, but missed the Grand Prize by one point. Great fun, lots of music, dancing and drinking and SUPER people. The first couple of pics on MSK’s site are from there (he’s everywhere). I’m doing the Indiana Festival this year (same weekend & Jim demands me there every so often) so I won’t be in New Iberia. Entered the competition, and we’ll see how we do.
