Hello My Chilipals,

First of all, Happy New Year! Ok, that’s out of the way. Let’s start off with some FUN! Here is a contest for you. It’s 2 parts:

Part 1.) I want to hear your greatest use for any of my Death Sauces. No, I do not want a recipe. I want just want to know how you use it. From something as simple as pouring it on your pizza, to keeping bears off your property, to what you do with the bottle itself (whatever! no rules!)

Part 2.) Email your me your hot sauce collection. I want to see what’s going on with it. It is not based on if you have all my products (of course, that does make it cooler). But whatever you have send all your details, when you started, how many bottles, your most prized, what people think of it, do your friends/family think your nutz, etc. send it all (info, photos, whatever!)

Five judges from Blair’s Sauces & Snacks will decide on February 20, 2006. The Top 5 winners will receive a set of the new “Cutting Room Floor”. Only 10 sets are being offered worldwide! The other 5 will sell for $799 each and will be offered first to those who send in a entry.

It is simple! Email me with all the good stuff at blair@extremefood.com

FYI – The “Cutting Room Floor” is a medley of Death Sauce Labels that never made it into production, some dating back to 1989. These are some classics! Some are as new as 2005. See the thousands of hours that is spent by the Worlds Most Obsessive Compulsive Chilihead.

There are some really great ones, but for whatever reason just never made it. Over 1 Dozen bottles in each set that are Signed & Numbered. This is the lowest Reserve Set I have made! Ok, so that is the deal. Have fun with it and, please, FEEL ALIVE IN 2006!

Your Chilipal,
Blair

PLEASE NOTE: B-99 will start shipping about 7 days later than expected. I am still awaiting the final wax from Italy, but the bottles look great!

By submitting your email for the “Cutting Room Floor Contest”, you are granting Blair’s Sauces & Snacks and Extremefood.com the express right to use all images and content via web, print, audio or other sources.

Blair is the King of the hot sauce world. This contest is awesome. This man thinks up the greatest possibilities for the Chillihead consumer and delivers SO beyond what is necessary. My hat is off for the winners; whoever they will be. But I know those only deserving will succeed.

Blair’s complete dedication to his work, his fans, his legacy, will never be matched in this life time. He’s made US; yes all of US, proud partners in his quest. WE all need to only think of his commitment and devotion, and put it to use in our own work.

Karma to you, Blair!
Enjoy Life!

Sent mine in as well. This is gotta be the coolest contest I have ever entered. I never win anything, but it was still fun to sit down and write about my small collection.

Same here DK. Even if I don’t win, its nice to tell the story to someone that gives a shite…unlike my family who all think I’m nuts. But so help me if someone wins one and then puts it up on ebay. This is like the holy grail of hot sauce and in the wrong hands could compromise the very fibers that binds this nation together…ok, that was a little over the top, but you get what I’m saying. This is something to be treasured in my opinion.

You are right sir!!!!!! These should never get sold on ebay from someone who won the contest. I dont think it would happen.

I’ll guarantee mine wouldn’t end up on Ebay. Not something as hard to come by as that. What few collectables I have were hard to come by for me, so it would be a definate keeper whether bought or won. I have sold one of my recent purchases because of being short on cash, but I have regretted it ever since.

THAKSWET – YOU CAN SAY THAT AGAIN, VERY WELL PUT! I wish everyone the best of luck. It’s stuff like this that makes me love hot sauce so much – especially Blair’s. It’s going to be a long wait untill Feb 20th, 4 days after my birthday. AGAIN GOOD LUCK TO ALL MY FELLOW CHILLIHEAD FREINDS!
