Defcon Deathmatch Sauce
Released at the 2008 Fiery Foods Show – Defcon Creator spent the weekend burning mouths (and tail pipes) with his latest creation – a bottled version of the Death Match sauce. The pallet is still en route from NM to NJ, so bottles are not yet available on the web (unless you want to pre-order). And one thing to note about the bottle – even though it appears as though it’s black, the bottle is actually clear! Now that’s a scary sauce!
Did Double DD meats in WA order any product?

Or Heather’s Heat and Flavor in Cleveland, Ohio?
If not, I’ll have to purchase some from the site….a new product…how exciting!

Not that I’m aware of. The show is always a whirlwind of activity, and considering we didn’t get in until after 3am this morning, and I’m actually at my 9-5 job right now (I don’t know my name at this point), we haven’t broken down the contact lists yet.

John, same answer as above. If they are looking to get some of this (it is a limited run), just have them contact us as soon as possible.
This little puppy is HOT! As many will attest to, and is the first product actually made with the good ‘ol reliable ZERO. The heat lasts for a LONG time as well, which made many tasters over the weekend realize sometimes you do have to be careful what you wish for.
Yep…. It melted a few of my molars!
No way in hell I’m putting that on wings….geezuz.
I hafta have a bottle of that. I’m going to be at Jungle Jim’s this week so I’ll check there. If Bret didn’t get any, I’ll order from the site. Can’t wait to get some. Just put down a few packs of wings out of the freezer.
Creator I will have to say this is one product that will give the masses a warm fuzzy feeling all over( Evil laugh !!!!) Keep up the good work and can’t wait to get mine……….

same for me, if jungle jims is selling it i wonder if i could take a bottle to wings and rings and have them make some deathmatch wings up for us on friday.
I had the Zero last year and I still wince in pain just thinking about it. I don’t even like to write the number zero or say it. Missed you all this year, but looking forward to next year!
How can I pre order this monster?
I was watching Sesame Street with my friends kids last weekend and the episode was being brought to us by the number zero and I was so frightened I had to turn the channel and watch Dora the Explorer instead.

Justin
Don’t know if they will allow outside sauces or not. Could give it a try though. Hey be careful coming down this way tomorrow. See ya!
[Comment ID #130805 Quote]
Justin, you might want to sample it first, I don’t think you want to use it straight on the wings, trust me. But hey, that’s your call. 🙂

We should have the pre-order stuff ready for Thursday. Just tell me how many you want through the website, and we should be able to crank into full gear next week. I have to apologize for the wait, it’s just stupidly crazy around here right now, and I’ve come to the realization that sleep is INDEED over-rated.
[Comment ID #130810 Quote]
Now THAT’s funny. 🙂

does that mean its hotter than the deathmatch sauce at jungle jims last year?
[Comment ID #130828 Quote]
im not shure if they will or not but i dont see why they wouldnt, it would save them some money if we brought our own sauce. i guess it could be a health hazard liabilty or something though.

GREAT! I look forward to ordering this legendary sauce…..how cool….
Ya – I definately have to get some of this!
Zero is what was left of my taste buds.
Neato !!!
Is there a limit on the run or the order? If not I’ll have to grab a good batch. My 1 is about gone from the last shipment…
If John tells you…”LICK MY STICK”…DON’T DO IT!!!!!!!!!!
I think I am going to get me one of these! I need to put in an order anyway. Been out for way too long!
I tried the 3, then Deathmatch, then Zero. I didn’t get much heat from 3, Deathmatch burned alot, Zero much more burn, but to me it tasted better than Deathmatch, almost like a very dark chocolate flavor. After ingesting those three it was time for a beer break and unloading the backpack back at the room before trying to taste anything else. Nice job guys!
Is this going to be one of those big e-mail things,(like the zero) or a new link on the website? By the way, how much cash are we talking? O-well if it is to much, I could just knock off a couple local bums.(for the aluminum) To be fair I guess I could go back and share the sauce with them.NOT

Sam, the #3 is the mild one. You should’ve tried the #1 which is the Xtra Hot. Great heat and terrific flavor. If you want to have your neighbors over though, you have to serve the #2 which is the party version with a little heat.
“does that mean its hotter than the deathmatch sauce at jungle jims last year?”
Most definitely. As many know, I am not really concerned about how many Scoville units something has. If I had to fathom a guess, it would be in the neighborhood of 200-250 thousand.

Yes, this is a limited run. We only have about 30 cases left. If this goes over well (which I think it will), we will be making another batch of it.

LOL! Dude, that was hilarious. To think, people actually asked to. The looks I got from Maggie were priceless!
“Is this going to be one of those big e-mail things,(like the zero) or a new link on the website?”
Not really, I will be sending out an e-mail when we start taking pre-orders. We’re just waiting for our pallet to arrive back from NM before we unleash this stuff to the public. As for the price, it’ll be a good deal, trust me.

Hudd I did order some but have to wait for Maggie to ship it. Sorry dude
[Comment ID #130805 Quote]
It’s not here yet. Sorry. Order over 300 new items It take awhile for stuff to start rolling in.
the all important ?….
how much is it?
Well, about 50 orders went out yesterday via Priority Mail, so anyone who ordered will be receiving them very soon. They are $18.00 each, which is a bargain considering it’s a 12 ounce bottle, and there’s TONS of excrutiating happiness within.

My neighbour Brian just ordered a bunch. Mine will be included in there!
Oh my goodness, I just tried mine. My hats off to all you Deathmatch winners out there, I don’t know how you did it. I consider myself an avid chilihead and after 3 wings I called it quits. Guess I’ll have to keep trying!! Good thing this is a 12 oz. bottle. Plenty of practice ahead. I got 2, one to eat and one for the collection.
