The HSB is proud to announce that Paul (aka thebigshow) is living the dream of many an HSBer and opening a brick and mortar retail location! And in true HSB fashion, I asked Paul to keep us up to date on every stage of the process - so that anyone thinking about jumping into the small business retail world can learn a little about just what it takes to make it happen.
Fire n Smoke, LLC (www.firensmoke.com) announces the opening of its first “Brick and Mortar” storefront in Southington, CT. Fire n Smoke’s owner, Paul Raczynski, has signed a lease for 96 Center Street, Southington, CT. The Grand Opening is expected to be June 01, 2007. Fire n Smoke will continue to specialize in Hot Sauces and Cigars and Accessories and will now be offering a Cigar Club. Benefits to Cigar Club membership will include special seating, widescreen TV, private humidor storage, poker and pool tables, Wi-Fi and much, much more.

Thanx everyone, I guess this will now explain why NM is unfortunately out this year. You’re all welcome anytime, grand opening scheduled for June 01, if everything goes as planned. Will definately keep everyone up to date with progress reports and pictures. I know this is a little different than just hot sauce, but i think with the cigars and the cigar club, will help support each other. Already bought our first smoke eater for the club. First step, a little painting, and start building the walk-in humidor. Thanx again to everyone, and hopefully see you here soon.

ALRIGHT PAUL! Great idea combining 2 interests like that. I’m sure you will get a lot of crossover business, too! So how could anyone complain when they see how many cigar smokers you will be converting to fiery food fanatics! Sounds like you put a lot of thought into it. Best of luck, man.

Thr frontage looks awesome…. Glad to hear everythings going along so smoothly so far,,,, Best of luck Brother…. Maybe a bunch of Manufactures will send you a ton of sauce for a house warming gift…. 
Will you be carry any type of helmet’s or Thermos at the shop, I know you’ll have a ton of winder sauce…lol…

Maybe my short bus sauce and Go-Kart helmet from TN will have to part of the display there. That would be a nice house-warming 
Is it for me to eat or sell though? LOL…. Unfortunately the product stock, is last on the list. Not alot of build-out luckily, mainly just building the humidor and one wall. Lucked out with the layout, I really think it’s gonna work out. Check out those mirrors? LOL most will be hidden with the humidor and shipping area.

Me too but Tia has her dance recital on June 2. BUT if the opening is delayed for any reason, I will be there.
