This is incredible! I came over from the UK on Chile pilgramige during the fall of 2005. I drove the exact same journey as you described and landed at El Paso, met Park Kerr and drove up via Las Cruces, San Antonio, Alburqurque (where I met Dave DeWitt - the Pope of peppers) and on to Sante Fe where I ended up in Mark Miller's Coyote Cafe.

I was so enthralled by what I saw and learnt, that I came back to England (UK) and planted a Chile Farm and built a Mexican Restaurant!
