It's funny how a significant other can alter your perception of food. When I first got married my wife didn't like spicy food much, so I tried toning my cooking way down to what I considered very mild levels, but my wife still tought it was really hot. Though I've got to give her props for sticking with it, now she'll try most of my normal sauces and has even gone on a hot sauce tasting with me. Just goes to show, even if you don't like the really hot stuff, it's still possible to enjoy hot sauce. Nice post, it’s good to get a different perspective.

My wife figures that if I cooked it and there are 'any' chiles in it at all, it's "too hot". Such as last night's chili colorado, so she ate mostly corn bread, heh. Biggles Uh, yeah.
