The Hot Sauce Book (link)
On behalf of the Hot Sauce Blog I’m pleased to announce that we are joining forces with Mud Puddle Books to create an updated & comprehensive guide to hot sauces & hot sauce manufacturers. Several of the hot sauce books on the market were published long ago and it’s time for a new version with the latest in what’s hot. That’s where you (the manufacturer) come in. If you make a hot sauce, we want you in the book! To be included simply fill out the downloadable form (PDF) and return via fax, email or regular mail. The deadline for form receipt is March 9th, 2007 – samples need to be received soon there after so that the photographer can begin shooting for the book.
The book will feature a brief description of the bottle of hot sauce and associated manufacturer, so it’s important to provide as much information about your products as possible. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me. I will also be available for discussion at the Fiery Foods Show next week.
HSB on CBC
Today at 1:00pm (Eastern), the HSB will be featured along with Taste the 4th Sense on the show Living in Toronto. For those who don’t have access to the CBC it will be available to be uploaded from the CBC shortly.

Wait a minute! Just had a brainstorm (yeah, I know, kinda scary), maybe next year we can organize a paintball game, something like bloggers vs. manufacturers. Hmmmmmm………….

Paintball is awesome! Judged games for years in Jim Thorpe, PA. I’ve finally geared up the Createss, who has been chomping at the bit to play for a while, so we’re joining the Seton Hall University’s ROTC group for some heavenly welts in a few weeks. I just can’t get her to put the squirrel suit on and run around in the backyard.

Oh come now, I am the most timid, unassuming person you’ll ever meet. Even the idea of causing another individual the least bit of discomfort is unfathomable to me.
But it would be cool seeing my wife run around the backyard in a squirrel suit whilst I pelt her with paintballs. I think the neighbors reaction would be classic. ![]()

It was a disappointment for me. I put quote a bit into it and the edited everything out. Worked well for Gerry though. If anything we got the HSB broadcasted on there. But they didnt show any of the collectables.
