The Duck Pond Rules Croquet Club will hold an exhibition tournament of competition croquet. The history of croquet will be presented. Anyone interested in learning the game will be allowed to participate. Instruction in technique and strategy from members of the club will take place throughout the day.

On June 23, 2007 tickets will go on sale for the INFUSION HOT SAUCE FESTIVAL at www.infusionhotsauce.com . The Festival will be held on the grounds of Strathmore Hall Mansion in Bethesda, Maryland and features four bands, a barbecue battle, chicken wing cook-off and an exhibition of competition croquet. Fifty percent (50%) of the proceeds from the barbecue battle and chicken wing cok-off will be donated to www.mannafood.org as we all “EAT FOR THE HUNGRY”.
Our third sauce, HYPERNOVA will also make it’s official public debut at the festival. Look out, this is going to be one of the hottest NATURAL sauce on the market. As always, no chili powder or added capsaicin. Only real chili peppers, and we’ve found some with searing heat!
The Infusion Hot Sauce Company is going on the road in a big way this month. We’ve accepted an invitation to the China International Condiment and Food Additive Exhibition in Changsha, Hunan, Peoples Republic of China. On June 15 - 17 we will be the exclusive American company participating. There are about 200 vendors and about 50,000 visitors expected. We will honor their ancestors by infusing willing attendees with DRAGONFIRE and FIREPOWER.

We received about 6 emails from this “Condiment and Food Additive Exhibition” and we thought it was a load of donkey manure.
They wanted banking information instead of credit cards for direct “bank to bank” transactions.
Yeah right, just like the leading suppliers of the Bih Jolokia that we’ve been solicited by. Pay half up front via bank transfer and then hope you get what you’ve ordered for the price that you were quoted.
I guess we were wrong about this one and I stand corrected. Good luck with the travel arrangements, currency conversion, language barrier and all of that good stuff. An undertaking like that is outside of my bandwidth right now. Too much good stuff happening here for me to leave.
Take lots of pictures and make sure Nick posts them here on HSB. I’d love to see the action over there.
Hey Uncle Big, there’s absolutely issues about dealing with the Chinese. And I agree that great things are happening at home. However, even if every 1,000th person buys a bottle of suce, thats still 1,000,000 bottles! The exhibition starts in a few hours. Even if I don’t sell anything this experience will have been wothwhile. So far the people here have been great, and I’m in f’in China. More info later…

If I ever went to China I’d be hailed as some sort of Sumo God.
The little chinese people here in China Town see me coming down the street and cring in fear.
Some day I’d like to visit for sure.

any news from china? was it a good show? worth the investment? details please. thanks. i spent 2 weeks in china about 10 years ago, before british left hong kong, and loved it.
