Got Guitar Hero II for Christmas. The Mrs. has been playing it more than me. What an incredible game!!!!!!

Fearless was a great movie!

Jackass 2 kept us howling and in shock the whole time!

Black Dahlia Murder was stupid and boring.

Make sure to rent the Descent!!!! Best Horror Movie in years.

Picked up Prometheus Burning new CD Beyond Repair. Great Power Noise for those who know what Power Noise is.

Got the box set of “The Sheild, season 1″ for Christmas, watched it all in 1 day. Bought season 2, watched it all in next day. Addicted, great show.
Have to buy the rest tommorow.

Hosting a Rose Bowl party today, have a great new years day everybody. GO MICHIGAN !!!

Casa BLane was hit hard by the ice storm, Saturday night lost a section of the shop and a garage, a neighbors tree helped with that, the electrical line was ripped from the house causing a 3ft by 4ft section of the house to go with it, I now have a new window/skylight in the kitchen, Power has been restored an hour ago. Did some temp repair on the house…… Good news is the family is
doing great, the in’laws have opened there house….. Even with the bad news we are truly blessed and Thankful for everything in 2006 …….

Sorry to hear about Blane glad the familys ok and you. But It’s not that bad. The swamp buggy took out the back side of cabin a couple years ago I just left it. Now it a straight shot to the outhouse, no walls or door to go around and with the hole in the roof the rabbit ears work better on the TV and now we can watch gator wrestling. LOL hope this put alittle smile on your face. Peace Brother glad everybody is ok.

But if you wouldn’t have fell and made that hole trying to adjust the outside antenna, we wouldn’t have the hole in the roof, could get more than just the GWC on the TV, and you would still have both of your teeth! But I do like that straight shot to the john!

Dude, that sucks…so sorry to hear. BUT at least everyone is OK. You can always replace material things, but never your family. Believe me I have tried replacing my family, but they are always being returned. Seriously as long as Mrs. Blane, Luke, and yourself are A-OK, then that is truly what counts!

Superbowl: Go Bears-

New Years: went up to the ski areas with the whole DC crew and the wife and I went snowmobiling over the continental divide. Incredible. Then drank too much after wacthing the Broncos and the Bears lose in the same day. (What the hell??) Also turned 30- great birthday.

Movies: Been watching HBO’s The Wire seasons 1-3 and holy crap I can honestly say it is the greatest show I have ever seen. I am a junkie and HBO is my Crack. Rent this one!

Games: No 360 yet but Legos Star Wars 2 the original trilogy for regular XBOX is a blast!

Irish drinking joke: How many Irishmen does it take to screw in a light bulb? 21. 1 to hold the lightbulb and 20 to drink until the room spins.

Thanks everyone for the kind words, support and out reach, that means alot to me and my family….. The good news is we have great insurance and everything can and will be replaced ( Even though it got down to 39 degrees in the house the sauce collection survied, no cracks in the wax…lol… )
Should only be a month or so and everything should be back to normal…
Unfortunatley other people have not been a fortunate in our community, shelters are full. I’m working 1/2 days for a week so I can help with repairs and tree removal for people in need….

On a positive note we look forward to meeting everyone in NM/FF.

Thanks again for the support, thats one great thing about the HSB!!!
I have some great friends that I truly know I can count on..

Jack I don’t know what to say, I was writing my note and after it posted I saw your’s, Like I said before I have some true friends on the HSB…. I am truly greatful, like I said before my family is fortunate to be safe and able to overcome this obstacle, but there are some that are struggling to make ends meet, so I would like to help out the shelter’s and elderly if that’s okay with you…. I’ll make sure the money goes to some very deserving people…. There are some great people on this site that goes way beyond anybody’s expectations…

Listen, you haven’t seen how we “help”! We would probably take down more houses then the storm trying to help “repair” them!!!! We are more of a comedy team, we truly try to do good, but we always screw something up and one of us usually gets hurt…..Kristi….. So we do what we can without putting the public in danger!

See Tracy, we had a dilemma. There is a great c l u b (group) that if everone knew the secret, they would all want in. Then it wouldn’t be as special. This way we set rules without setting them, and keep the group small. Prove yourself by being willing to endure the handshake, which has never been documented, and is thought of a very bad thing. And then you will be allowed into the group. Most people cringe and go eew thinking of this as something on that side of the fence. In fact it isnt that at all. Huevos Rancheros, whole wheat bagels with cream cheese and three pepper jelly, and Bloody Mary’s (or Caesars as we Canucks call them) all around for breakfast.
I start Tai Chi (naked) around 6:45, so make sure you get here before then and we can all get a good stretch in before brekky!!

A strange thing happened today……

When heading out for a little lunch today at work, I went out to get in my truck and an odd darkness loomed over the parking lot.

I looked up to see a big hairy azzz Full-Moon directly over head. I thought I heard a womens voice yell “Sit Down Bret!” But I can not be sure.

One thing I do know, when the Full-Moon eclipsed I saw a Big Guy wearing Black Leather Chaps, a Black Leather Vest, and a Black Leather Policemens Hat!

I think I might have nightmares tonight now!!
