We have reconstituted some of our dried Jolokia pods and created a Limited Edition of Jolokia Select Puree. With 80% chile and 20% vinegar, this is truly Liquid Fire! The cost for a 5 fluid ounce bottle is $40.00. It is not available in our Jolokia Store on our site yet, so you have to call to order, or stop by either of our retail locations.

I tried this yesterday and bought it today. To sum it up, and I mean this as a compliment, ouch!

P.S. and/or BTW, as much as this would be crown in anyone’s collection, this stuff is meant to be opened and consumed, enjoyed and it’s very daunting. Extract is one thing but this is the real stuff. A new bar has been set.

Does it have a distinctive flavor or just heat? If it has a flavor, can you describe it?

It has a very distinct flavor - very citrusy smell and almost a pineapple flavor followed by plenty of heat but the heat doesn’t cover up the flavor.
