Here you guys go, the off topic thread for June. Couple of things to talk about:

- Baseball

- Movies: Anyone see X-Men? Any other recommendations? Any good rentals?

- Video Games

- Peppers & Gardening

- Any good BBQ plans?

- Any good jokes?

- Favorite blogs to read (besides the HSB of course)?

- Anything and everything else…

Got a news flash for you ma’am- *anything* will sell if there’s enough press behind it :-) Pet Rocks comes readily to mind, as do a few cheap hot sauces I could name.

Kari and I are going to have a movie marathon weekend. We always end up renting DVD’s and never get to the theatre anymore, so we decided we would hit it hard this weekend. We are planning on seeing Da Vinci, The Break-up, and X-men 3. I will have to let you all know what I think next week.

Nick, I hope this is OK to post.

Do we have anyone from the Twin Cities area up in this joint? I have 4 free tickets to the MasterCraft US Pro Wakeboard Tour on Island Lake in the Minneappolis/St Paul area that I will not be able to attend. The Tour stop is this weekend and the tickets are good for Saturday OR Sunday. These tickets are General Admission but I will also provide the letter that came with the tickets which allows the bearer of the tickets to sit in a reserved area for MasterCraft boat owners. These wakeboard competitions are always a good time and I would love for someone to be able to use these. Email me with your contact info if you are interested.

gAMBIT IS THE GUY WITH THE CARDS OR SOMETHING LIKE THAT ISNT HE. eVEN IF THAT ISNT HIM, i DO NOT RECALL A GAMBIT IN THE MOVIE. Oops caps :) The Beast was played by Frasier Kelsey grammer.

Comment #35:
Comment by Jim Campbell- StepUpForCharity.org (1521) - 6/8/2006 @ 6:24 am |

Didn’t see a ‘Gambit’ though I might not have recognized him if he was there. Didn’t hear the name used either. Didn’t really care for the series as a kid (Green Hornet fan) but have liked the movies. Thought Kelsey Grammer was pretty entertaining in his role.

Comment #36:
Comment by Mrs.Ryan (2181) - 6/8/2006 @ 11:58 am |

YES GAMBIT HAD THE CARDS!!!!!!!!!! woooohooooo, he is my fave he is great. Beast is awesome. I am going to see this movie soon. especially since gambit is in it. I loved the comics and the cartoons, and the movies, when i was a teenager we had the role playing game, like Dungeons and dragons, I had a blast playing that.
