I have sampled literally hundreds of suace and Katos is absolutely my favorite. The island sauce is the best sauce of ny kind I have ever tasted. It matches any food you can make. From slow cooked pork to braised beef it is better than any wine pairing you can find. I only wish my local grocery store carried it.

One of my favaorit treats is a Kato Bar. mmmm And speaking of peanutbutter, mix in some chipotle powder into your jar of PB, not that is living too.

That Red Cinnamon Syrup sounds very interesting.

Taste makes me think of chili. Can taste cuming, I believe. A great taste. Sweet, but with a little bite. The taste stays there for awhile, with several flavors evident. But I wouldn't say that they're competing with each other, just providing a nice taste sensation. I could put this sauce on most anything! Well balanced sauce.

There's something about habanero and chocolate that go well together. Not quite the duo of peanut butter & chocolate, but still good. I remember fondly trying some of the Cowgirl chocolates a few years back and liking it quite a bit. Ever try those?

Also, for a "different" sorta chili...try adding some unsweetened chocolate to a pot of 'red' chili. With a little allspice or cinnamon, you get a Cincy variant that's pretty decent.
