According to a posting on VAN HALEN bassist Michael Anthony’s web site, “the new Mad Anthony’s BBQ Sauce Original Style and Extra Hot is done! Bottling is underway and both will be available in a healthy 16 oz bottle in our online store in the next two to three weeks.”

Back in September 2004, Anthony’s tongue-sizzling brand of hot sauce, Mad Anthony’s Hot Sauce, “burned up” the competition at the 2005 Chile Pepper Magazine Fiery Food Challenge when it took second place in the “Hot Sauce - General” category, which had the most entries in the entire challenge. In addition, the Mad Anthony’s Mustard took first place in the “Condiment - Mustard” category.

October 18, 2005

We are in need of items for our upcoming Raffle/Silent Auction/Sale to raise money for our. AAA/Major baseball team. We play around 60-70 games per season We just finished our 2005 spring season with a record of 31/21 and qualified for the Nationals Tournament. Your contribution would be greatly appreciated for our fall 2005 season and our Spring/Summer 2006 season.

We are hoping that you will donate a few bottles of your sauces for our fund raiser. We are putting together a fee cooking basket prizes and are wanting some of your sauces to put in it. We are trying to get sauces from all over the country. All of us boys are working very hard at fund raisers to be a self supported team. We will be putting our event in several newspapers and having it announced on radio stations.

We understand that a lot of companies are helping out with Katrina victims and know that is a greater priority.

Our team is listed here for verification. BC Bombers - Building Champions Bombers
