Pepper Guy, stay tuned, the next article is about hardening off your plants, getting them ready for mother nature, if not done correctly can be very hazardous.

just put 3 plants in a 5-gallon container. Going to keep them in the shade for the next few days and out of the sun. The technical "last frost" date has already passed, but I've been told to still be wary 'till memorial day. The forecast looks fine and no danger of frost.

There are many, many reports of peppers not growing to full potential, even dying of unknown reasons. The only commonality has been peat pellets. I would never recommend them. A dozen different suppliers will also agree to this.

The best thing to do is to grow them first in Jiffy peat pellets, then you can just take the whole pellet not disturbing the roots and plant them in 3 in peat pots. When they are ready for planting just put the pot in the ground and you never once disturbed the roots. You then will have a better growing season, especially if you’ve planted habs’ or bonnets.
