Just got a sauce in the mail today call 13x Hot habanero Sauce…. 1st ingredient is saki and they use Rice vinegar instead of reg vinegar. Rice is a little milder. Something diffrent.

Which I respectfully disagree with….. The no Naga 10 definitely has a sharper initial bite (from the Fatalli) and is DEFINITELY hot, but the Naga-10 (IMHO) is hotter and burns longer. BUT.. I am willing to revisit this with a blind taste test this weekend….

I think Defcon 0 is definitely hotter than Snakebite.. Estimates were 2-3 Million for that.. However, Deathmatch sauce is not as hot.. So it may be a close call here…

i wonder if marc mcmullen is stoked that he is putting the hottest all natural hot sauce out there? it should in such high demand from us extreme folks i’d reckon.

Yep… I have a few things I want to test. 1
1. Is the No Naga 10 hotter than the NEW Naga 10
2. Is the No Naga 10 hotter than the OLD Naga 10
3. Is the NEW Naga 10 hotter than the OLD Naga 10
4. Taste test between Naga Sabi and the NEW Naga 10

I may not be able to do both 1 and 2 as I have VERY little of the OLD Naga 10 left (about a teaspoon if I leave the bottle upside for a while.

Im over whelmed by your support. If I knew demand was going to be this high (Ive had over 130 enquiries today alone!), I would have done a much bigger run

I also wasent aware there was Naga 10 on the market. Is that 10 Fresh Naga Morich pods or just the powder? I find that if you use powder you lose all the fantastic fruity flavours of this pepper.

If I new there was a Naga 10, I would have pushed the boat out and made a Naga 15! (assuming I could squeeze them all into the bottle).

On second thoughts after this weekends exploits when I nearly put myself in hospital after experimenting with a new recipie with these Bangladeshi bad boys, I think i’ll buy a decent pair of gloves first!

Mark contacted me about a month and a half ago (?) with questions about the North American market place and launching/marketing/distributing the Naga Snake Bite sauce. I helped where I could and it’s cool to see it come to fruition.

I would highly recommend anyone looking for seeds or pods to check out his website and get ordering!

When you dry a chile you are removing 90% of it’s weight, which is water. Water flavored by the chile. Yes, I much prefer fresh chiles, but we have no source for them right now, and I have only what I can scrounge from those willing to part with it. I have found suppliers of so called Naga powder that appears to be cut with some hab powder, and I have had samples of powder that has none of the nuances of what I know to be actual Naga powder. So I work with what I have and include the questionable stuff as hab powder in other products that I make.

The 3rd batch of Sauce 10 is what we have at this point. It is quite different from the first 2. We used some Naga flake in this one and it seems to be hotter yet. I really can’t wait to get a reliable source for these chiles. Hat’s off to you Mark for what I’m sure is a great sauce/puree! Hope to get a chance to try some. The chiles pictured here look exactly like fresh fatalii’s, only a different color. I’m sure that the fatalii is the Naga’s little brother!

Hi CaJohn, May I say it’s an honor to get to type to you here and may I say your Ultra Hot Sauces are all Insane and my friends think Im wacked out of my mind to buy something that hot. I love telling them that Tabasco is only 2200 SU and you make stuff in the Millions SU. You and Blair have opened the door “pandoras box” to a whole new world of hot sauces. Unfortunatly, even thow I love and use the hottest sauces anyone I personally know, I can’t even come close to the Million level but I do enjoy collecting them at least. I wish I could handle it like some of you people do but I just can’t handle the after effect if you know what I mean. I can handle almost anything going in, but going out is another story…
PS, I’ve noticed that collectors seem to like to have things that very few people have. Remember Beanie Babies….. Ok, it was a fad, but still, people seem to like to have something that very few people have. But at the same token, collectors don’t seem to like it when they can never get one of these rare ones unless they pay markup prices at places like Ebay. Why not just randomly display limiteded collector items at your Homepage Store so everyone can have a fair shake at getting something rare for a fair price. It will also increase the hits you will get at your website also and im sure it will increase your sales of your other items. I know sometimes Collectors can be a Pain in the you know what but I bet “TY”, the owner and creator of Beanie Babies didn’t mind too much… Keep it fun for the collectors and great tasting for those who love eating them and you can’t lose.

What an honour it is to be able to contact a sauce maker of your calibre on this great site. If you email me your address details via the chileman site, I’d love to send you a couple of bottles of my Naga Snakebite Sauces for your professional opinion. You will know that these peppers are SERIOUSLY hot, with a fantastic long burn as well as a unique taste. When experimenting with these sauces over the last 12 months or so, Ive resisted the temptation to create a seriously stupid sauce by adding an artifical extract. There are alreday loads of those on the market and how can you better pure 16m cap crystals? Andl, whats the point in spending a small fortune on a sauce if its almost inedible?. I wanted to keep these sauce 100% natural to maintain the smell & fruity taste undertones of these Bangladeshi badboys, without the base ingredients tempering the overall heat. You pro sauce makers certainly have a talent. Trying to get the right balance is a difficult feat.

Im also got some batches of pure Naga Morich paste (which is almost inedible) for the seriously stupid. I hope to make these available in 45ml jars in the months ahead if their is enough demand. I hope to be able to process and ship some 100% Naga Morich Powder to you in the near future.

By the way Guys, I hope to release both Naga Snakebite sauces very soon. Those you are on our prioirty list will recieve further details shortly. I just have to iron out a few shipment problems to keep the shipments costs as low as I can for you Guys (Im shipping from the UK remember).

Steve C, thanks for your kind words and suggestions. When the site is done (it’s only about 25% finished at this point) there will be a lot of things to interest the collector. We will have some historical info and pics of the early items, and a few for sale. The collectors are a big part of the industry, no doubt about that.
