Nando's Lemon & Herb Peri-Peri Grinder

The second I unwrapped the cellophane I was greeted with the most amazing aroma. My mouth is still watering from the smell. A brilliant bouquet of citrus and spice. Just like the JD Steak and Burger Seasoning and Montreal Steak this begs to be rubbed into meat, dashed into soups or sprinkled over salads.

The presentation of this is fabulous as well. From the container to the spices inside.

Ingredients: Sea Salt, Onion Granules, Sugar, Sodium Diacetate, Black Peppercorns, Black Pepper Coarse, Citric Acid, Dehydrated Parsley, Dehydrated Oregano, Dehydrated Rosemary, Dehydrated Thyme, Dehydrated Basil, Chili Granules, Dehydrated Marjoram, Tumeric Oleoresin, Lemon Oil, African Birds Eye Peppers (Peri-Peri), Garlic Oil.

Allergens: None. Made in a facility that also processes milk, solids, eggs and tree nuts.
Storage: Replace Cap Tightly after use. Store in a cool dry place.
Usage: Avoid using over steaming pots.

I can see many opportunities to use this. The uses are practically limitless. Usually I am pretty weary of most grinder style spices\mixes as they get boring pretty quickly and applications are not as varied. After the mega-grinder (see review here) I reviewed a long time ago I haven’t had to purchase or use any others.

A brilliant bouquet of citrus and spice. It was kind of hard getting a picture of this. The container as you can see is a transparent fluorescent green so it doesn’t give you a good idea as to what the contents looks like.

After grinding you get a little bit of a better look but at the point it is already ground down.

That aside, I have used this extensively since I have received it. It has not let me down once. I may have been a little harsh on some of the other Nando’s products as to their ingredients but there is nothing I can bash about this.

If you are looking for an all purpose citrusy type grinder look no further. This one rocks!

Packaging 9/10 – Grinder is too small
Aroma 10/10 – Top notch flavour
Appearance 9/10 – Looks amazing
Taste 9.5/10 – Simply delicious
Heat 1/10 – Little to no heat

Overall 9.5/10
