Yep, sure do! I have Matts to look at at the moment but no money to get my own.

Hey everbody you would not belive how Impress Blair was today on how quick everbody react to the new firecracker release. I called him on his cell because Karin said he left early. The Black Mamba hasn’t been tested for scoville rating, but I can personally testify that it is EXTREMELY HOT!!

Well, It all really depends on the definition of extract, and sauce.

sauce |sôs| noun 1 thick liquid served with food, usually savory dishes, to add moistness and flavor.

So, any time you serve extract with food, it becomes a sauce, but without this an extract is an extract.

Yep - I got a signed Chipotle Hot Pepper SAuce (can’t open that - it’s signed!) and a Jungle Jims Road Kill - will open this one next week.

I haven’t actually eaten it yet! My plan is to make half the pizza with talon as a sauce and the other half with TALON and tomato sauce (in case i’m not a real man). There will definitely be pictures!

I’m not sure, but I think the #1 got an 8 or a 9 on heat during a review here some time ago. It’s not a blow your face off hot, as we like the heat but prefer to back it up with flavor. It’s hot, as there are extracts in it.

No one better to answer the questions then the “Horses Mouth”, I think that is the appeal and what keeps alot of us coming back over and over again. If you are serious about hot sauce, hot food, collecting, and everything that falls inbetween this is one of the better places to be.

Thanks guys! Nope- didn’t get it resolved yet. Shelled out bucks to join a health club that has two of the same model machines I’ve been training on. Only problem is, it’s about 90 F and 100% humidity in there 2.5 hours on it last day & I was more whooped than some days when I’ve spent 3.5. Sigh… oh well. That’s why I keep emphasizing that it’s an “attempt” at the record

Is he going to update it when it does? I don’t understand why the 16 million hasn’t run out. I swear it went from 10percent left to 5 percent left in one day. I thought it was going to run out before I got it. Also, is this going to end up being one of the higher priced reserves on ebay?

Nate, to try to forecast what one of Blair’s reserves will go for in the future is near if not completely impossible. There are a few on there right now, so it should give you a pretty good idea. As the reserves get older, they will probably go up in value, as each year some may be opened, broken, lost, etc.

I always wonder what makes the prices so different sometimes. You can never tell on the hot sauce market!

I just figured out how well hot sauce is at clearing a stuffy nose. Is there any known method stretching your tongue nerves to eat hotter sauces(I know that just eating them alot does the trick.)

There were 23 originally. I think the Creator estimated recently(not sure what thread) that he believes there are about 13-14 unopened (and he has one) . A few have two….

Its really hard to explain because however hot you think its going to be, its not - its alot hotter!!
The heat is pretty much instant and spreads really quickly, so you really need to be careful about how much you take!

The stuff in the bottle is almost solid, its kinda like hot tar, so you need to get the toothpick really into it and stir it about a bit, otherwise you’ll just get some of the oil sitting on top, which I don’t reackon is at hot as the sludge further down. If you do use a toothpick as above, obviously you cant put that into your mouth - it will be WAY to much, so you will need another toothpick to scrape a tiny amount off the first toothpick and then put that in your mouth.
Important: avoid all contact with the lips!

Its certainly worth trying but is so easy to take too much, you really do need to be cautious! Rubber gloves are an absolute must for this one!

It’s the actual bottle- the bottle shape/design is going to change, this Reserve will be the last in that bottle shape/design and it will be in the Guinness Book of World Records forever so he’s urging you to buy it- “Be Apart of History” so to say. His 2am and 3am will continue to be in the bottle/design they are in now, they are still open and producing product, but there will be a new bottle/design for the next Reserves to come.

I got some from hotternhell & have ‘played’ with it Just like the other powders (3 sources now) it doesn’t burn as bad as I’d thought it would. Habs still kill me far worse.

I wet the end of a toothpick (fat end), dipped it in & pulled out a good glob of it, and chowed down. As before, it gave a very warm glow from belly to scalp, but lacked that ragged “I’m going to rip my tongue out because of the pain” burn that habs give me. Hey Jim, have you ever thought about using chillies to keep you goin on your attempt - take plenty about 21 hrs and then they’ll keep you running til the end. It’ll work on a vascular shunt If you stop stepping the blood won’t be diverted to your legs anymore but to your stomach for digestion = ring of fire……so if you keep stepping, there will be no need for the toilet

You need one like I have. Its nationwide, but has minimal coverage where I live, so sometimes I get them sometimes I dont. (good for me) They offered a solution yesterday to go with a “local” pager and are going to mail us them to try. Wont work though, coverage map is the same.

Not a problem man, got it out as soon as we could. As for the horseradish, for best results, put it in the fridge for a little while, it tastes better a little chilled.

With the good responses we’ve gotten, we’re seriously contemplating going into full production with this stuff. Stay tuned…

Hmmmm, tempting, but even though Mad has been taken by the “Foursome of Fell Thought”, I wouldn’t want to subject the poor lad to the fumes of the lovely horseradish root. Considering me grind it by hand, it’s much more powerful than grinding habaneros, believe it or not, and I don’t think Mad’s ocular cavity would be able to take the pain. Hell, I use scuba goggles, a regulator and a tank of nitrox when I’m grinding the stuff up, it’s kinda strange looking.
