Now, as reported previously on HotSauceBlog.com, I drank a beer about 2 weeks ago infused with Smack My Ass and Call Me Sally Hot Sauce. Fortunately I lived to tell the tale, however injured my lips may have been.

Anyways, we recieved a new shipment of Smack My Ass Hot Sauces yesterday and I wanted to share with you the new label style. For those novices out there, the white label on the left is the older label and the psychadelic looking label is the newest version.

I don’t like the new label style at all. The bottle looks like an eye sore on the shelf, but I can understand why they made the change. The older label style was not standing out on the shelves, despite a great name and the warning label around the neck of the bottle. But regardless, this new label is ugly. And to top it off, the scratch off label has been discarded as well. With the older labels you can scratch the hand print off the ass. Doesn’t have anything to do with the hot sauce itself, but it was one of the trademark identifiers of this brand.

I think the guys at Tijuana Flats should go back to the drawing board with this one. Thumbs down.
