it’s only a tax right off to the amount over what it would cost you normally. you are receiving something worth value. so the question is, how much is the product and how much is the donation. in case i never mentioned it, i’m an accountant…lol

you? get in to trouble? naaahhh… i dont see that!

The difficut question is, putting a value on what you’re getting. Could you argue that Blair’s 04 Holiday sold for $200 and CaJohn’s Lava Dome for $50, the rest is a tax right off? Not sure they would buy that one, but I suppose that’s what I would try.

San Jose eats? I used to go there a lot for the Game Developers Conference. One word: Sushi!

Also, if you make it to SF, definitely go to Le Colonial (20 Cosmo Place, SF 94109). AMAZING French Colonial inspired Vietnamese food. It’s also a great place to get some legit Veitnamese beer, sit on the balcony and watch the sites. Great food.

Have fun!

Vietnamese beer…Ahh yes, old #33 (bam-ni-bah, forget how to spell it). The high content of enbalming fluid gave quite the buzz, but MAN, the hangover…Ugh.

Don’t feel like an ass Jodie, it did originally say San Diego. Severel people I’ve talked to have stated the same. Fist the San Diego/San Jose thing, then we find out Clint and Nick are one in the same (notice up above that both Nick and Clint’s posts are highlighted and they have the same number of comments). Where’s the mystery van when you need it?

Ok, now I know what’s going on. Clint was with Nick using Nick’s computer. In the Habanero Punch Review thread, Clint made a post (his 98th) which appeared normal. Then we have the post toward the top of this thread, which is highlighted (like Nick’s always are) and then followed by a comment from Mick (also highlighted). BOTH comments from Nick and Clint have the same number posts showing next to their names on the comments. So that mystery is solved. But questions still remain…

What are Nick and Clint doing together?
Does Nick’s wife know they’re together?
Why the change in travel plans?
Was there a quarrel between Nick and Clint on where to vacation?
Is it really a business trip?
is “business trip” code for something more scandalous?
How many fingers am I holding up?

The truth is out there…Scully, get ADA Skinner, we’re going “probing”…

Ahhh ryan, it may be more twisted then you think. Maybe HSB Central has been hijacked in Nick’s absence and someone is there using Nick’s computer. Then trying to post as Nick (as well) to throw everyone off. The IP address can reveal alot - so further investigation may be necessary. If you change only the name (not the e-mail), the post-count will remain the same. So you need to ask many more questions to find the answer.

Better watch out or the “Houston Squash Racquets Association” might be after you for “borrowing” their name…lol Wonder if Chuck’s a member?

Ahhh ryan, it may be more twisted then you think. Maybe HSB Central has been hijacked in Nick’s absence and someone is there using Nick’s computer. Then trying to post as Nick (as well) to throw everyone off. The IP address can reveal alot - so further investigation may be necessary. If you change only the name (not the e-mail), the post-count will remain the same. So you need to ask many more questions to find the answer.

Well there’s more going on than either you or Nick are wiling to expose…now Clint’s comment is no longer highlighted and the post count has been changed. Its ok for HSBers to play outside the blog. Just maintain that “don’t ask, don’t tell” poilcy ;-)

It was awesome don’t have the words to explain it. I took right around 450 pictures through the whole weekend…..In November they are coming to Grand Rapids, MI think i may see them again. They said there was around 70,000 plus at the RHCP,s concert. We were right around 80 yards from the stage. It was crazy……….

Hey HSBers,
Just wanted to let you know that I will be out of the office from 8/7 until 8/11 - Going to San Jose for business. I’ll maintain the HSB postings on a regular basis, though the new posts may not be live at the usual time.

If anyone knows any good haunts in San Jose let me know and I’ll try and check them out. If you email me while I’m out, I’ll try and respond but please be patient.

Whew, I thought I was going a little insane there. OK, I am insane as it is, but more then normal! Thanks! Now for that van….
