Chili for dinner at the firehouse tonight! :-) Steak & ground beef. **NO** cinnamon by choice... and no beer, not by choice ;-) Probably some pasta though, as I need to feed almost 20 people cheaply.

Yeah we didn't. I know the coastal flooding was bad in many regions. Here too on Long Island it was bad. However, it will be alot worse when a cat.3+ comes here. Majority of people won't evacuate. I am in the process of getting certified by American Red Cross to run Evacuation Shelters. I am then going to go for Senior Membership.

I don’t know GN, over by us we had swells over 10 feet and the two neighboring towns were deamed catastrophic and believe me, I’m sitting in hours of traffic daily because of the flooding and damage. Glad you didnt get too much where you are.

A rare rainy drab day here in Phoenix also. Perfect chili weather. All the chili I have seen here on the HSB looks good, BUT, I always have to add cilantro and chorizo to my chili. Might as well cash in on a rainy day and make some chili here.
