Vendors sought for salsa festival

The Downtown Oxnard Merchants Association is accepting applications for qualified vendors and crafters to participate in the 14th annual Oxnard Salsa Festival on July 28-29. The two-day celebration of all things salsa attracts an estimated 45,000 attendees.

Festival organizers are seeking exhibitors who sell spicy foods, gourmet salsa and hot sauces, chili pepper souvenirs, original art, pottery, garden decor, unique clothing and accessories, toys and exotic imports. Salsa- and Latin-themed products and artwork are specially desired.

Vendor applications are available online at http://www.oxnardsalsafestival.com or by calling 247-0197. The deadline for submission is May 31.

Great, some events a little closer to home! This looks like something to check into. 3 times the attendance than NM and in old stomping grounds of Califorina.
