I’ve been out of the hot sauce collecting scene for over a year now due to family medical problems that kept me away from any of my hobbies, but this blog has been keeping me up to date and watering-at-the-mouth. I think this post is the one to push me over the edge (well, accompanied by the fact that my stash of good stuff is running really low). I think it is time to place a big order somewhere or drive over to the Pepper Palace. Anyone know if the PP in-store stock is still up to snuff. I haven’t been there in almost two years. If not, where is the best place to order online? Do most of you order straight from the makers to cut out the middle man?

Oh, and is there a general message board I’m missing, or is the only place to discuss things in response to a blog posting? Thanks for the answers and keep up the great work!

Well if you are looking for a sauce in particular you might just order from the maker of which many of the greats frequent here!! But if you are looking for a plethora of hot sauces many of us will suggest http://www.sweatnspice.com/ Just so happens this person is also the owner of the blog. But I have always had great experiences with Nick and shipping has always been fast! Welcome back into the world of all things hot and spicy!!

P.S. A little information on the bottle, it obviously has the wax inverted, but the purple is not the final color as side by side the on on the bottle pictured is much lighter than the retail version, also the contents of the bottle are not the final “product” it is a 1 million svu solution inside not the 12million+ of the final product.
I guess it doesn’t really matter as I will never open it. But it is info for you.

I guess the “Fur Paw” guess was closer than I thought!

Fur Paw, Fer Pawl …….. For Paul. There ya go! I guess my southern accent was affecting my spelling. ;)

That’s awesome pmac…..thanks for the pics. The resin seems to be different to normal. i.e. how it lies on the base of the bottle. It looks cool

That of course would be even funnier if you really have the heavy southern accent :)
