There are only 5 days left to get your hot sauce haikus in. I will close the submissions out at midnight on the 30th of September. I have gotten MANY awesome haikus, many from the Hot Sauce Blog members. Here are some of the submissions so far. I must say that given the comments on the “Caption This Contest #3“, I expected a less reserved bunch of haikus. Nonetheless, they have been great and a blast to read!

Red face starts to sweat
Tastebuds dance atop my tounge
I hope the burn lasts

O capsaicin
You warm my mouth, heart, and soul
I yearn for your fire!

Eyes water,lips burn
Sweat pours and heart beats faster
My pain is pleasure!
