Parker the rating system equates to what exactly? You say 3.75 is 7.5 or a 75 out of a 100 and that needs improvements. What is more important than the flavor? Here is the review breakdown:
Appearance: N/A- Looks like red salt. Deceivingly simple.
Smell: 3- Like pepper, with a hint of cayenne.
Taste: 4- It makes simple foods taste “fullerâ€, giving more depth.
Heat: 2.5- It’s in there, but if you like the hotter you may be disappointed.
Overall: 3.75-This is an all-around seasoning that does wonders on bland foods.
Heat and Smell bring done the score, while taste which is a 4 becomes somewhat buried. That is an 8 or an 80 in your two other rating systems. Well 3.75 to a 4 really isn’t much of a difference. SO forget it.
It sounded to me like a 5 on the Taste scale….that’s all. Sorry for ruffling your feathers.

No Al, I don’t know the exact number of grains of each item to make it 100 % correct, but I’ll bet I could have fun trying. After all it’s only 4 ingredients (not 6). Doesn’t seem like Rocket science to me. Maybe for you it is?
.
As far as the rating system goes, if you say things like ” It really doesn’t matter because you can use it for anything” and “When I first got it I was using it like I would use regular salt, shaking it on pasta, nachos, hot dogs, and even in salad dressings” then finish it off saying “Very flavorful, very crisp. Once you get it you’re going to find yourself using it on your dinner table”
I just don’t understand why id didn’t get a higher mark than a 3.75 out of a 5?
If it were a 10 rating system, that would make it a 7.5. On a 1-100 scale that would make it a 75. Seems like a lot of room for improvement for such a fine product.

You know the portion size per ingredient? I am sure if you looked at a lot of the simple labels of products you would think, hey I think I can make this, it only has 4-6 ingredients.
I only have one issue with this review or maybe an issue with all the reviews. This rating system is different from the others or their rating system is different from yours. If you see the majority, you will see a 10 point system and when you see a 3.75 for a product it could be misleading. I wish that all the reviews would either do away with this practice of a rating OR have all the reviews judge it the same way. Otherwise, another fine review Louie.

If it’s just salt, red pepper, white pepper and garlic then why not make it your self at home? I think everyone has those spices.
