I also would have liked to know what you would have liked changed to improve the sauce. I know it smells like it tastes but you didn’t describe either the taste or smell. I think the Blues BBQ way of cooking comment was fine, as long as you describe the technique, parboiled?, dry rubbed? The review doesn’t give me enough info to decide whether this product is worth buying. I certainly wouldn’t buy it for the name of the sauce alone.

As I gain knowledge and suggestions from folks like you, Jim, my reviews will only get better. I am hesitant to contact the manufacturers because sauce people, for the most part, are great people and a negative review is much harder to do to a new friend. Critiscim without solution, is a point well taken. Thanks!

Hey Steve. Just a little hint of a suggestion from a guy like me, a run of the mill consumer. A little less self promotion wouldn’t hurt. The review is supposed to about the sauce being reviewed. You’re comment “Blueâ€™s BBQ way of cooking ribs” in a review about another manufacturer’s product could cause someone to question the validity of the review. Seems to add a little bias. I’m sure it wasn’t intentional, but the review WAS about Better than Bad Sex BBQ, right? Also, the review says “by Steve” , so any new readers that do not know who you are may be confused by the reference. Other than that, nice review.
