The bottle says, “It’s good Karma!â€.
Geez I wonder in what incarnation I have heard that before. Needless to say this is not a ground breaking sauce. You know what they say, Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. Well…. In this case not so much. But it is a good attempt.
I went to their web-site hoping for something substantial. You can go check it out yourselves. I would love to slam this sauce but I can’t. Simply cause it is pretty good. This is the stuff I find (labels only) at Pubs that want to add some flexibility and help out the macho chili-head that wants to go beyond their home-made suicide sauce. Well this is not that stuff. So if you ever see it sitting in a pantry at your local watering hole make sure to give it a try.
The aroma is vinegar pepper sauce. Vinegar is first on the nose followed up by peppers (mainly jalapenos and serranos I am guessing) and then a good wash of garlic. I was happy to see that it had a stopper on the top as the consistency is very watery. The stopper allows for a controlled frustrated shake to get the sauce out. Fine by me!
Ingredients: Distilled White Vinegar, Chili Peppers, Garlic, Spices, Salt, Sugar
This sauce screams fish & chips. In fact I think I am going to do some proper this Friday at Bishop and Belcher. Fried foods and Asian foods have a new good friend here.
DragonFire is all over the board here in so many different elements. I think some retooling all around could make this a serious contender for a top notch medium green sauce.
Packaging 4/10 – dull and uninformative
Aroma 10/10 – Smells better than it tastes
Appearance 5/10 – watery and green
Taste 7.4/10 – surprisingly good taste – lots of garlic, vinegar and peppers
Heat 2/10 – even after a full tablespoon straight up barely noticed any heat
Overall 6.7/10 – All over the place sauce here – if possible, sample before purchase – you may love it!

Maybe the person who rated the companion red sauce overall 9/10 should have rated this sauce because quite honestly this is the better sauce in my opinion. It doesn’t have the bite of the red sauce but if you aren’t looking for all the heat and more of the flavor this is your sauce. It is as close as you can get to cutting up fresh peppers and putting them on your favorite dishes, and this sauce goes with just about anything. So maybe the raters last line of “you may love it” should read “you will love it”.
if you love vinegar sauces, these are the best I’ve had. I’ve been using their sauces for years and it’s always on the table at meal time.

Interesting review Anthony, great job again.
This label is uncomfortably close to project we are working on, ouch.
Mornin gang, today is a busy day at PPP, last chance to ship Xmas stuff, so you all have a great day. I’ll check back later.
