Ingredients: Water, Habañero, Lemon juice, Garlic powder, Cider Vinegar, Chile Pequins, Onion, Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Canola Oil, Xanthan Gum, and other natural Herbs and Spices.
Site Description: This is a blend of the Red Habanero and the Chili Pequins. This has a hint of garlic on the front end with the full body finish of the Habanero Pepper. Excellent for wings, chili, beans, etc. No extracts.
First Impressions: I dunno, maybe I’m not enough of a science fiction fan to really appreciate any space themed hot sauce. But when this bottle arrived, I knew I was in for a treat. The coloring is a deep orange which reflects the habaneros lurking inside, always a good sign.
Smell: The habanero aroma is blended nicely with the garlic & onion powder - which are also muting the cider vinegar.
Tongue Taste: First, the cider vinegar lays the ground work - a bit of heat on the tongue, but nothing out of the ordinary. Then .2 seconds later the habaneros kick in and the flames began dancing around my mouth. 5 seconds later the heat was burning a path down my throat and then the infamous hiccup alarm went off. If a sauce can set off my hiccup alarm, then it gets two thumbs up in my book.

Food Taste: The night before Jonah (Burrito Blog) left NYC, we met up at a burrito joint in Brooklyn that he had recieved rave reviews about. The burritos at the place were pretty awful, so bad I can’t remeber the name of the joint, because I sure as hell won’t be going back there. But the saving grace for the night was the bottle of Endorfin Encounter I had packed with me.
It was passed around the table a lot, even the newb chiliheads braved a taste. You can see from the action shot above that I was laying it on my burrito pretty thick. And yes, the hiccup alarm went off again. That made the meal that much better.
The habanero heat in this sauce may be a bit much for newbs, but seasoned chiliheads will appreciate the heat and especially the wide mouth bottle (easy pouring!).
