*WARNING* READ THIS FIRST *WARNING*
Before we begin, we feel it’s our obligation to you the consumer to enlighten you on the many reputable Addiction Treatment options and resources easily attainable and strongly suggested after you try this Beef Jerky. You’ve been warned!
The Flagship of the Arizona Pepper Company’s armada is their Jackson’s Awesome Habanero Beef Jerky. Recently awared a Power Seller status on eBay, and boasting the honors of being the #1 selling Habanero Jerky this jerky holds firm to it’s reputation. Owner, operator, salesman, jerky maker, hot sauce producer, bottle washer, labeler, guitar collector, hot sauce collector and semi-pro poker player Jack Penrod says “I would like to thank all of you who have purchased my jerky, this stuff is taking off beyond my wildest expectations, and I will continue to try my best to provide you with the BEST BEEF JERKY available anywhere.” With well over 1100 positive feedback hits and an overall 99.9% Positive rating, it looks like a lot of us agree, this jerky is good.

When the package first arrived I couldn’t quite see into to get a good feel for what I was getting myself into, but as I ripped into it eagerly, the bloom of the Habanero aroma hit my nose and it was pure love and it was on! There is a definite sweet underlying smell to the jerky, Jack uses the same process in all of his jerky varities. “I slice, prepare, season, and marinate it as you would regular jerky, but with habanero sauce added to the marinade, and some southwestern heat spices (secret) added to the mix. This jerky is vacuum marinated a full 24 hours for maximum flavor. Made right here in Mesa Arizona.” The jerky has a smoked mesquite flavor with a straight kick in the mouth Habanero greeting.

You can plainly see the Habanero Sauce and many pepper seeds on the jerky pieces just waiting to light you up. To me, I found Jackson’s Awesome Habanero Beef Jerky to be hotter then their Death in the Desert Habanero Sauce (read review) because of the nature of the jerky itself. You have to chew jerky longer then your normal application of sauce to a meal or as an additive, because of the length of time it takes to chew it properly the Habaneros have time to assault your mouth entirely. The burn gets you in every crease, crevice, nook and cranny evenly and the heat lingers around intently and it’s not limited to just the lips and tongue.
“I use only London Broil, this is by far the most expensive and best meat for jerky, with minimal fat, and makes the best jerky you ever tasted. I do NOT use ROUND STEAK ! It’s much too tough and “dry”, even if it is much cheaper.”
Conclusion: Habanero Pepper lovers rejoice, here is a beef jerky you can sink your teeth into and it bites you back! This jerky packs a nice warm burn that you wacky Heet-Seekers will just love. Full of flavor and not over the top, I can see why Jack and his Arizona Pepper Company keep adding to their Positive Feedback hits. Heed the warning above, you’ll be back for more of this good stuff, trust me.

Another great review Vic. I am just finishing up a big review on some Canadian Jerky that I am sure is the equivalent to this in the States.

I am almost willing to bet money that it is USDA inspected. Unless he raises his own cows and processes them
Arizona Jack cattle wrangler, the person he bought the meat from is most certainly USDA inspected. Not much gets by the feds and USDA/FSIS. Even the mom and pop folks that grow free range chicken have to go through some sort of inspection although not as tough as larger companies
Aaron..
All jerky makers MUST put the seal on the front of there bags and i just didnt see it on there

Kinda looks that way Randy, but these little tiffs seem to add a unique bit of flavor to the threads.
See how its starts lol..i ask a simple ? to vic and it all goes down hill from there
I’ve never tasted Jack’s jerky but I’m looking forward to doing so at ZF.
Until then maybe we should launch an global investigation as I’m sure Jack is probably part of some grand diabolical scheme to dominate the world of black market jerky.
Look…I don’t mind a little flavor added to the mix but this BS of hijacking reviews has long since gotten old. Plain and simple it just pisses me off! Adios!
bs of high jacking reviews what the hell is that!!!!!!

Gatorman is good! I can attest to that!
WOW, another great review, THANKS VIC !!!
Again, to clear up any confusion, here we go again.
I only purchase USDA choice cut London Broil from a grocery store I have a contract with (verbal). I make the jerky (slice, marinate, dry and package) in a restauraunt (state inspected) I rent , and use only FDA approved stainless commercial meat slicer and dryers.
And YES, I will bring lots of small sample packages to ZF for you all to try.
One thing we missed on all the reviews is our new labels, retail ready. But thats a small issue, we are a newer company, and I’ll let my feedback speak for it’s self. THANKS to all of you, today has been a great day already!!!

Oops, never put in the URL, should be there now, sorry.
Vic thanks for trying to clear this up for me but…i hope this will not give the real identity of the truth away but with that said … Jack i also am a new beef jerky manufacture and from all the research and the run around with the USDA if your place where you make the jerky is only state regulated you can only sell the jerky in that state…if you sell it outside the state you need to be fed.regulated
truth, i found your site. Looks good
Great review Vic. I need to try some of this!

I heard someone here woke up on the wrong side of the bed this morning!
How goes it MSK!
Just got home a few minutes ago. The wife and I left this morning for a day of shopping in Alabama. The most unusual thing happened. I found all kinds of stuff to buy “for me”. She, on the other hand, didn’t spend a penny! Go figure!

Hopefully you got lots of hot sauce!
Hey, you guys still up? You’re not planning a 2am hurtfest again tonight are ya Tracy?
Hello MSK!
All I bought were clothes and shoes.
Came across very little hot sauce. When you take the wife shopping, hot sauce isn’t exactly on her agenda. Though I did stop by a Le Gourmet. They had a couple of Dave’s 2004. Two each 2 and 3 am reserves and 1 LeMillion. Didn’t bother to pick up on them. Brother John of course has a few items in there as well.
I was just cheking in before turning in. You got mail again Tracy. I’ll leave ya alone now. Good night everyone.

I WAS AT THE LOS ANGELES COUNTY FAIR ABOUT 8 YEARS AGO WHEN I HAD BOUGHT SOME JERKY AND THE PACKAGE SAID ARIZONA JACK THE GUY TOLD ME THAT I WOULD NOT BE ABLE TO BUY THIS JERKY IN A STORE .EVERY YEAR AFTER THAT IF I HAD A CHANCE TO GO TO THE FAIR I WOULD LOOK FOR THE STAND IN ONE OF THE BUILDINGS AND NEVER ANY LUCK.IF THIS RINGS A BELL IS THEIR A WAY YOU COULD TELL ME HOW TO ORDER SOME…
THE BACKROUND OF THE PACKAGE LOOKED LIKE DESERT.I BELEIVE IT SAID ARIZONA JACK
Try Jack at www dot superspicy dot com
But hurry - I heard he may be leaving the Jerky Business.
Arizona Jack is not my brand…it is ok stuff sold here in Arizona, co’branded by someone else. I have stopped making jerky, you are correct, but THANKS for the thought.
I’m off to Nevada while everybody else is off to NM, so travel safe my friends, and have a great weekend !!!
