I almost got this mixed up with the review Clint did for the Mindslayer 10 skull Habanero sauce. Glad I didn’t cause this one seems to be a tad better in the quality department. Biased?!? Yes….. but, let me explain. I haven’t tried the 10 Skull but this 3 skull is potent enough. It has a very decent blend of peppers that give it a great taste. I was a little bit skeptical about the Splenda as I thought it would be overpowering just in the fact that it wanted to be noticed, but that couldn’t be further from the truth. Everything works well in this hot sauce. As it turns out the simplicity of it turns out to be more complex than what it seems and the fact that it is safe for diabetics is worth bonus points.
Ingredients: Jalapenos, Habaneros, Cayenne Peppers, Filtered Water, Sea Salt, Apple Cider Vinegar, Splenda (maltodextrin, sucralose), Ginger, Garlic Powder, Tomato Paste, Cumin, Vinegar
It smells nice, looks good, pours well and overall it is quite tasty! Taste wise you are not getting anything spectacular. But it is good. A sauce you can drown something in knowing that the outcome will taste good and not worrying that you just spilled out a premium hot sauce.
This won’t overpower you with heat so don’t take the label to heart. Just enjoy it for what it is.
Again, kudos to Redd Eye Brand to come out with a sauce to put the mind at ease of people who cant always indulge. For those that see this as a relief then you will find this sauce to be a staple for you. Redd Eye has created a good sauce here so no sacrifice for taste it needed.

Aroma 6/10 – Not much to report on
Appearance 7/10 – basic red habanero
Taste 7.9/10 – It tastes quite good!
Heat 5/10 – decent habanero heat
Overall 7.7/10 – Almost there

It’s got a cool label. After reading the ingredients, I can see why this bottle has skulls on it…Splenda…its poison.

Splenda and ginger, not my thing. Decent enough label, looks cool, and I like the combo Jalapeno/ Habanero/ Cayenne thing.

Found the word that caused it… I like the spice c-u-m in it’s one of my favorites, could you taste it in the sauce? Does anybody know if this spice is any other sauce?

These guys (and gals) have some really nice products not to mention they are great people. I am looking forward to trying this hot sauce. I really enjoyed their Black Bean and Corn Salsa and their Eye-Poppin’ Hot Salsa at the Fiery Foods Show last year.
