Garry's Grandmother and Aunt live in Augora Hills and they have been evacuated once or twice in their lifetimes. So far so good for them! But I just can't imagine that lifestyle, earthquakes, fires, rock slides (they live by the PCH). Absolutely BEAUTIFUL views, but not somewhere I want to live (OK, we almost moved there about 10 years ago, but I just couldn't). I just keep good thoughts for all those that have lost their homes, keep a prayer in my heart for those who lost loved ones, and wish peaceful thoughts for those who have been evacuated wondering if they will lose their homes too. I did find out later that my neighbors decided to evacuate Tuesday night when they saw the fire crest over a hill several miles South of our location. Very surreal.
