A big thank you to all the collector’s that have sent in images of their collections so far, keep them coming!

I’ve become an avid reader of your blog and find myself coming back day after day to find new things, my hats off to you- I really enjoy your site and it’s content. I read your posting encouraging collectors to send in pictures of their collections to “share with the world”, it’s a great idea. I’m not sure if everyone feels the same but to have a chance to compare and contrast what you’ve accomplished is a rush, you almost have that bonding feeling like beng amoung fellow freaks.
My wife Wendy and I have been collecting for about 9 years now, we started on a Christmas with Santa putting a few under the tree and it’s grown to just over 1100 bottles now. And it just hasn’t been us searching for new sauces, our friends and family get into as well, I can’t tell you how many “do you have…?” phone calls we receive.
It’s addicting; we scour the internet, search high and low everywhere we go, have catalogs sent to the house, and always seem to have our eyes peeled not matter where we are. We have just gotten into the Blair’s craze and started collecting his Reserves, also we like to go after promo’s and event sauces that are rarer and a little harder to get. Also we live in Orlando and like to focus on Florida sauces and locals, whether being restaurants, benefits, or chili cook offs we try our best to add it if they have it! So thanks for the opportunity and keep up the good work.

Vic & Wendy Clinco

Wow. Just, wow. Very impressive. People think I have a lot when I tell them I’m pushing 200. I’m just going to point them to these pictures and laugh. Awesome!

I just showed my wife the pics of this collection and all she could say is “that guy needs help” :p Now that she’s seen that, my small collection doesn’t seem so bad to her. Thanks man! (what she doesn’t realize is that I plan to grow my collection to such monstrous proportions too) I think it rocks, nice going.

Well guys and gals, it has begun…the first B-99 is now on Ebay. Starting bid is $175.00 no reserve. 3-day listing. Having trouble with pics but will have up with in 10 hours of listing he says. Bottle #35. Auction can be seen here: Link.

Good luck to those of you that go for this.

Anyone wanting to bid should remember that this B-99 will likely sell for about $100 more than the second, third, etc. More will show up, and they’ll sell for cheaper. For instance, the first couple 2005 holiday reserves sold for $400 and $350, the most last week sold for around $200. I’d wait a few weeks!

Hokey Smokes!! My wife just promised to give me no more trouble also :-)

‘Course she said that last week when she found out what the bottle of Beyond Death would fetch ;-)

Outstanding collection! Got it on a data base?

Coming from you, that is a HUGE compliment- thanks. Yes, we compile it on a Works Spreadsheet alphabetically by Manufacturer. We also denote hand signed status and/or numbering, if it was a special event sauce, and in some cases where it was produced if outside the US. I try an update it every 20-30 new sauces or so. I work hard to keep up with it, we will be up over 1200 bottles very soon and if I don’t keep them logged we find it more and more difficult to remember what we have or what we’ve seen on-line, in print, or at shops- you know the memory starts to slip as the age increases, lol. We have quantity, now that we have been here on HSB and have had our eyes opened, we are turning toward quality, Nick has been incredible to us and I owe him bigtime for all he’s done for us.

That would be fun to browse the listing! Any chance of that? I’m sure I’m not the only one curious as to what is all in there. Can recognize some from the pics but not many.

Jim, That would be no problem. I can mail you a hard copy or e-mail you a copy of the file- whatever is easier for you. Hey no criticism on spelling or content- I feel like I am turning in a term paper to the department head of chili-dom, keep your red pen in your drawer. :)

Excuse me sir- you’ve obviously mistaken me for somebody :-)

My only claim to fame is I’ve been at it long enough, most everyone else has quit!

Email works as long as the file isn’t *too* big. No spelling corrections, I promise :-)

You really ought to consider placarding your house. Not only will it help keep the burglars out, I pity the poor folks responding to a house fire there :-)

LoL, I’ll consider it- Yeah we are not sure if all the sauce will help extinguish a fire or ignite a fireball mushroom that would cover the entire neighborhood. I sent the e-mail to your address on Mild to Wild.

Vic & Wendy, my kudos to you for your energy and ivestment. This is just unbelievable!!! Not only have you amassed many, many sauces, you’ve set them up in a “merchandising” fashion. The groupings are not legible in the pics, but I imagine there is some order to their layout. Jus unbelievable. GREAT JOB! And of course keep collecting!!!

Thanks CaJohn, It takes an effort to keep like items together, re-arranging to keep Manf/producers items together as you get them and such. We try and group by heat levels, periods in our life (where we lived, our friends there type of thing). I have to say I am lucky that Wendy is into as much as I am- I read so many comments about wives not letting collections overtake their house, I realize that and try and decorate it the best I can- no one (but me maybe) wants to live in a hot sauce store, so we try and make it livable. This is not bragging, but the pictures just do not do it justice, it’s totally different to stand in the room and see them all right there- everywhere you turn. Thanks again and watch for my purchases on “your” site, I have my eye on a lot of your stuff.

Thanks Tina, Wendy and I and actually our Friends and Family have put a lot of time, effort, and love into it. It is our Pride and Joy- silly aye, a bunch of condiments on shelves taking over the house! But it’s ours, lol!

The shelf was purchased from a little Hot Shop that used to be at the outlet mall that’s down in Sunrise, FL. They closed the shop a couple of years ago, snif snif - so sad. We get a lot of compliments on it.

Hey Brother, much love right back at ya! We truly are honored to have your products grace our shelves. And to brag a little- we have quite the PPP sub-collection, some incredible pieces man and like we discussed one of the most extensive collections of your bottles going. I’m stoked!

Does your collection include products by F.R.O.M. Enterprises? (Incinerator, Widow Maker, Grave Marker, Nuclear Waste) I have been to several of the national conventions in Albuquerque. All of my competition seems to like the long neck bottles. They are all a LOT MORE watery than my sauces. If you put any of my sauces in those long neck bottles you would never get it out with out breaking the bottle. I am temporarily off the market but if you are interrested please let me know via snail-mail and I can send you product info and 1 of each for your collection. (I have a few left in the basement!!!)
Sincerly yours Nancy Seberiano
