Viva el Taco!

After quite a few months of scouting Mexican food locations here in NYC, I’ve finally found what I’ve been looking for. Cheap, fast, tasty & uncomplicated ~ definately sounds like a dream.
New Taco Express
with (2) “New” locations and (1) “Fresh” Location in NYC - check out the menus online.
Mexican PizzaThe menus are simple - you have your choice of tortillas, tacos, burritos or quesadillas and the occasional Mexican pizza. Prices are cheap - one tortilla with steak will run you only $1.75 although you’ll have to eat 4 of them to get full. However, for $5 you can get a huge burrito and when I say huge, I mean huge. The tortillas are so stuffed with rice, beans, meat (steak or chicken) and lettuce that they cannot fully close.

I’ve eaten Taco Express quite a few times and sampled my way around the menu, including the Mexican Pizza seen above, but by far my favorite item on the menus are the Al Carbon tortillas. Tender seasoned steak wrapped in fresh made soft flour tortillas. Yummmmm! If your more of a chicken person try out the hard shell chicken tacos, very tasty as well.

Steak Taco

Taco cart food delivered straight to your door. Does it get any better then this? The only downside of this place is that they don’t carry the meats I’m used to from taco carts - Lengua, Cabeza etc… ~ but maybe it’s better they don’t
