You Know You Have a Hot Sauce Problem if…

Your fridge looks like this:
Nick's Refrigerator Door
This is just the side door of my fridge.
Contents include:

  • Da’ Bomb Beyond Insanity
  • Marie Sharp’s Beware
  • Cholula
  • (2) Tabasco Chipotle
  • Mad Dog Liquid Fire
  • Maple Syrup (Wife’s)
  • Anal Agony
  • Pain Is Good Batch #218
  • Joe Perry’s Boneyard Brew
  • Mad Anthony’s Fiery mustard
  • Taste of Thai
  • Ring of Fire X-Tra Hot Habanero
  • Schizophrenic Fresh Cream Indulgence
  • Marie Sharp’s Belizean Heat
  • Blair’s Sudden Death
  • Dave’s Cool Cayenne
  • Dave’s Ultimate Insanity
  • Baboon Ass Gone Rabid
  • Chef D Rock Original
  • Tabasco Spicy Soy Sauce
  • Trappy Cayenne Sauce

And that’s just the side door. Inside you’ll find:

Inside my Fridge
Anything on the right is the wife’s (notice it’s all healthy) and on my side it’s pretty sad to see that the only thing edible are green olives. And they are spicy green olives. There’s spicy peanut butter, spicy jams and jellies and wing sauces. Hmm, yes I’d have to say that this qualifies as an addiction.

Sweet blog man! You’ve got some crazy hot sauce going on in that frig.

Glad I found out about your site as I’m gonna be making frequent stops back.

More impressive is how neat the racks look. With all our sauces plus the food, our fridge always looks disastrous inside.

I also have a huge hot sauce collection, altho’ most are not in the refrigerator and haven’t been for years. Still fine to eat. Haven’t poisoned anyone yet!

I continue to buy bottles and enjoy those, and little packets of dried chile that friends send me, on a daily basis.

I have pictures of my hot sauce collection too but they are not at my website yet. If you want to see, email me privately. I’ve got them ready to send.

Talk about a refrigerator that looks disasterous. Mine included. I just cleaned it out a few minutes ago. Disgusting.

I do have a few things in there that are spicy - pickled garlic, chinese chile paste, sambal, pickled jalapenos, pepper jellies (assorted), Peach Habanero Jam from Meadow View Farms in Bowers, PA - assorted other things. A few ripe jalapenos too.

Anyway, great blog. Glad I found it.

My website has quite a few spicy recipes. For perusal. They are in there with all the rest.

There are worse problems you could have. My fridge looks the same. But I somehow ended up with two open bottles of Baboon Ass Brand Gone Rabid and two Ultimate Insanity sauces. I hope all the capsiasin is not affecting my memory or affecting my memory.
