We’ve all heard to famous story of the way Blair’s Death Sauces started - If you haven’t and want to know more, read up about Blair on the Sweat ‘N Spice Blair’s Hot Sauce Page. It’s been over 13 years since Blair first made his original death sauce (1991) and things have changed over the years. Blair’s Hot Sauces are now a international brand, with labels made in several different languages.
Digging into my personal sauce stash, I found that I have several generations of Blair’s Hot Sauces. The one thing that differentiates each generation are the labels.

Blair’s Original Death Sauce

3 Generation of Blair's Original Death Sauce
Blair’s Sudden Death Sauce

Blair’s After Death
3 Generations of Blair's After Death Sauce
Blair’s After Death Hot Sauce is my favorite of all the Blair’s Death Sauces, not only in flavor but also in presentation. I think it’s the deep red color of the sauce matched with a darker label then you see on most hot sauce bottles. Flavor-wise After Death has intense heat matched with the smokey flavor of chipotle peppers. Very very tasty. One drop on a hard boiled egg makes a great high protien snack!

Gotta agree on that one, all Blairs sauces are great (save for the Heat Habanero Mango that didn’t really live up to my expectations, and yes, I tried them all). But After Death is specifically savvy. Probably the best all-around sauces in the world.
