Zest Fest 2007 Deadlines Extended

FORT WORTH, Texas ““ ZestFest officials have requested that all interested exhibitors apply to display their zesty products at the Sept. 7-9 event by Aug. 20 in order to secure a booth. Those who secure a booth at the event will be able to showcase and sell their goods to thousands of potential new customers in a fun, energetic atmosphere with opportunities for consumer interaction along the way. Last year, more than 70 qualified trade buyers from all over the country attended ZestFest in search of flavorful products. Small specialty gourmet shops attended as well as Tom Thumb and United Supermarkets.

In addition, potential competitors in the Fiery Food Challenge must send their entries by Aug. 10. The challenge is the most prestigious of its kind in the industry, with more than 80 categories ranging from salsa to apparel.
Within each of those categories, competitors vie for the Golden Chile award.
Culinary expert judges sample every food product in blind tastings, and winners are announced during Zest Fest.
