Yes, it’s me Jodie (That‘s me with my hubby, Garry.). Yes, I am 1/3 of the Three Hot Tamales. Why in the world would I want to review hot foods for the HSB? Because maybe I am a little insane. But what true chili head doesn’t have some type of insanity running thru their veins? I wanted to review products because I believe food should be about fun. I love trying new foods and flavors. I love sharing my experiences, good and bad, with others. Which is why I approached Nick about doing reviews for the HSB.
I always enjoyed a little heat in my food but not until I got into the hot sauce biz myself did I truly start to venture into different types of hot sauces. I never realized what I was missing. I have a lot of catching up to do!
My collection is not large but the bottles I do collect are worth more then gold to me. My collection represents the wonders of the chili head community It represents fun, friends, and a dysfunctional family to rival all others! It is something I look forward to adding to as time goes on.

Hottest Item Ever Consumed:
OK, I was at the 2005 NASFT Fancy Food Show in NYC. Now I love trying everything I can while I am there. Never know what you may like. Well, I went to one booth and they had olives stuffed with Habanero peppers. I love olives. I love heat. Why not give it shot? I mean I am in the food biz. WOW! I swear my heart stopped, my face went completely red, and my tongue hurt for 45 minutes! The only relief I got was from the full size frozen margarita that I kept sipping and letting melt on my tongue! It was quite humorous!

40. That is just a rough guess of all the collectable bottles and opened bottles in my fridge.

Wow, go away for a few days and the whole world turns upside down! Jodie, congrats! What a refreshing thing to see my first night back online since Turkey day. I’m sure I’ll be your biggest fan! Well, maybe third biggest, Bubba and Leroy just said that they are fightin’ over being the biggest fan. They’re always fightin over sumthin’, so don’t let it go to your head.

Thanks DK! I think Kristi and Lisa are jelaous of my new found fame! Nah, it is all good! And beleive me, we can always work out a biggest fan time schedule….I like to make them happy too!
